Leeds-based @Ziasounds departs from D’n’B past to killer effect on this EP for Twin Turbo.

Void marks a clear departure for the UK producer, who manages a fresh take on big-room tech-house. ‘Recall' nods to the badman bass, vocal cuts and atmosphere of underground legends like Joy O and Boddika, while ‘Fracture’ somehow manages to refine and combine the ferocious tense builds of vintage Proxy, with the club-friendly groove and massive bass of a chugging Dirty Bird record. Crowdpleasers.

Techno journeyman @AlexiDelano turns in an excellent remix of Fracture, making a long overdue return to the Canadian label that released his LP a full 15 years ago. Full circle, dope as ever.

Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Record is back with a new compilation this September, entitled ‘MadTech 03’ and comprising fourteen original tracks from many leading names in contemporary house music.

It’s been yet another fantastic year for MadTech with releases from the likes of Cera Alba, Artifact and Kalyde, picking up support along the way from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Dubspeeka and BBC Radio 1’s Monki. Here the label returns with yet another hard hitting various artists package, with the likes of PMR’s No Artificial Colours, Bontan, Circus’s Yousef and Leftwing & Kody all delivering brand new exclusive material for the comp.
In true MadTech fashion the ‘03’ compilation offers up an array or raw, dance floor focused house cut ranging from the hypnotic and infectious grooves of Rockaforte’s ‘Hyper Muzik’ and Lupe Fuentes & Javi Lopez’ ‘To Perfection’, through to more direct house workouts from Max Chapman, No Artificial Colours, Bontan and Rich Wakley.

Montel takes things into old school realms with the organ drenched ‘Horizons’, SEFF and Kashii bring a bassy edge to things with skippy and pitched vocal chops, while Demarzo and Fabricio Pecanha tip the focus into darker realms with a more progressive, electronic focus. This brilliant remix was originally done as a secret weapon for Subb-an, Noir and a few close dj-friends to play out and surprise the crowds around the globe.
After handing out private copies to a few selected djs we ended up with enormous support on this remix from:
Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Radioslave, Art Department, Pete Tong, Dubfire,
Matthew Dear, Tiefschwarz, Butch, Gorge, Jimpster, Sasha,Reboot, Deetron,
Tim Green, 2000 And One, Catz n' Dogz, Matt Tolfrey, Ryan Crosson and
Nic Fanciulli.

At DC10's closing party at Ibiza the Subb-an Remix was played no less than 3 times and the crowd was ecstatic each time. And after the YouTube video of Seth Troxler & Jamie Jones playing the track that specific night surfaced we have now ended up with a huge buzz and demand for this track to be released.

This will be a collaboration that takes Techno back to the underground on a massive scale to throw a party that will shake the foundations of London.
