"The Montreal community unites under the “Abandoned ___” series banner again this May for a one day monster party in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. The party, which has made it’s name reinventing abstract, vacant locales into vibrant electronic music hotspots, is taking over a vast school setting in the name of ‘Abandoned Academy’.

The effort brings together local collectives, including the likes of Husa Sounds, Front Rite, 8day, Octov, Ancient Future and more, for the one day event. The bill welcomes Diynamic pair Adana Twins, who will lead the outdoor soiree joined by local talents like Drol. (Live), Chiino and Risa. While late night proceeding will take place inside the school with appearances from Atroxx, Jimmy Be, Or Room, Johnny Messina, Rafa Pineda, Adam Husa, Kris Tin and Vowels & White."

Anthony Samaha's journey into the music world all started when he bought his first MIDI keyboard and software in college. Fast forward 3 years, and he has established himself in the city of Seattle as a resident DJ at Foundation nightclub. Having started out in the trance scene, he managed to release a few originals under his Alias, Cartographer, as well as playing a handful of opening gigs for world class Artists at both clubs as well as festivals in Washington.

In this past year, his sound and taste in music has shifted into the darker, worldly sounds of techno and deep house. He started a weekly mix series called LOST that showcases his skills as both a DJ and a curator of forward thinking music.  His first release was part of the Gamma compilation on LUMP Records, and he has a few more releases scheduled this year.
