C-89, unlike his CVN-86 counterpart, is incredibly vain and isn’t afraid to show off his looks and muscles even when unprompted. The host of Defunctland, Kevin Perjurer, has taken up a strange topic- a fictitious amusement park ride existing only in a video game. As any healthy theme park enthusiast should, Kevin checks out the ride himself; a mysterious ride known for never ending owned by a gigantic skeleton named Mr. Bones. Somehow crossing the boundaries of fiction and reality, Kevin meets Mr. Bones face to face to discuss his spooky and evil ride, but before they can reach a conclusion, they find themselves in the world of TOML. Will they prevail? Who knows, the ride never ends!

It was never easy, being the king. He knew it. His competition knew it. That’s why he’s here now. King Slime, representation of the mooks, the fodder, the easy pickings… at the end of the world. Standing at the end of the dock, he remains, somber.

One of his subjects stare up at him.

“No,” ‘says’ King Slime, “I do not believe we should overstay our welcome. I was beaten, fair and square. It is over for us.”

It isn’t easy, accepting the loss. Even now, even if it was nothing more than a simple competition, it’s bitter on the… everything, really. Because that’s all he is.

“Loyal subject… no. Friend. Shall we leave them something to remember us by?”

The slime hops atop their lord, knocking their crown off the top of their head. It falls on top of the dock, clattering. In the fading light of day, its luster reminds the king of the fading embers of a campfire. Campfires he’s seen time and time again, as those from his world come and go, seeking a challenge. And time and time again, he falls. If he could nod, he would.

“That will be all. Thank you, really. Now…”

King Slime hops off the dock, resting comfortably in the water.

“Let’s be on our way. I sense we will be needed again soon.”

The other slime hops on top of the decrowned king. Wordlessly, they float off towards the horizon, “heads” held high. Sure, today was not the day they would win. And it wouldn’t be any time soon, they both know that’s so.

But the world would be a bleaker place without them. He was able to make his people proud.
The warmth of a smile fills King Slime.

No matter how poorly he did, he won’t be forgotten.

And deep down? Knowing that the common man could have their voices heard?
That’s all he really needed in the first place.

The brave two-dimensional traveller is Running out of time, as his entire world may cease to exist in only a few months. Armed with his trusty pencil, Fancypants wishes to bring his home to us, cause he's not going anywhere, and won't go down without a fight. His close friends over at Flipnote Studio have already fallen to time and technology, and he holds their wisdom close even to this day; he will never be afraid again, and he will keep on fighting till the end. Sunshine Stitches (Doc McStuffins from Doc McStuffins + Tails Doll from Sonic R)
One of the stranger pairs of subjects here are subjects D-12 and D-98, referred to as Dottie “Doc” McStuffins and Tails Doll respectively. Doc appears to be a young girl with a certain affinity for fixing toys and other playthings and arrived here with a few in tow. Perhaps that’s what drew her to attempting to fix up Tails Doll, which at first glance appears to be a crude plush version of a video game mascot’s sidekick. However, experimentation has shown something more lies beneath that intimidating deadpan glare. Doc has been a bit vague on why she’s operating on this toy, something I worry could lead to something far worse.

Subject H-57, at first, appears to be a normal human scientist under the name Bruce Banner. Banner was initially part of the research group, and his anomalous abilities were ignored for the sake of his status as an employee. However, interaction with foreign interdimensional elements has caused him to transform into a massive, festivity-despising monster referred to as “the Incredible Grinch”. The Grinch is highly unstable and appears to be capable of stealing objects without anyone noticing, especially those which produce sound; when bothered by noise, he has been noted to scream something sounding like “NOISE, NOISE, NOISE!”. Current testing to get Banner back to a normal state of mind has proved futile but it appears the effect wears off once the Grinch is satisfied.

Lord Cowboy Darrell
There’s a new daddy in town! Or so subject BM-051 claims. Referring to himself as Lord Cowboy Darrell, this robot is significantly more intelligent than we initially perceived him to be. He’s remarkably fast, is equipped with a retractable arm cannon and a giant spiked fist that nearly crushed [REDACTED] last week, and can send out a seemingly endless supply of duplicates of himself. He also claims to be the current owner of a large robot-manufacturing plant across the street from a mere bodega; we’re still not sure whether this is true or false, the jury still remains split. Regardless, subject BM-051 appears to be a bit more fierce than we first thought…

Subject W-100 is one of the more peculiar subjects. They seem to be based on the "Bard" class from “Dungeons and Dragons”. As they are a representation of an archetype, rather than a single entity, their physical form is more abstract than most other subjects. Subject W-100 is capable of generating a variety of brass, woodwinds and percussion instruments at will, much to the dismay of company researchers. W-100 also seems to rely heavily on an anomalous sense of luck, occasionally performing impossible feats due to what they refer to as “Critical Successes”. However, this also leads to them occasionally failing at basic tasks, which they refer to as “Critical Failures”. This anomalous property should be carefully observed at all times.
