TANK Kollektiv is a project founded by Joris Heijkant and Reyk to express and share the love for electronic music through podcasts and the promotion of small-scale events. Their weekly podcast TANK Radio has a strong focus on Dark Disco and closely related genres. In addition to the residents of TANK Kollektiv, inspiring artists from all over the world are invited to share their take on electronic music.

For this mixtape TANK Kollektiv founders Reyk and Joris Heijkant got together for a b2b:
Reyk finds inspiration in (Dark) Disco, Trance, House and everything in-between. Synth-heavy floor fillers and sweeping basslines are his favourite ingredients. Whereas Joris Heijkant finds a balance between heavy-hitting synth music and genres such as Electronica, Dark Disco and Kraut. He often carries arpeggios and some dance floor curveballs in his toolbox!

Equally obsessive about Hi-NRG, Downtempo, New Beat, Dark & Nu Disco she quests through the dirtiest depths of the internet and record stores for rhythms so inviting that you can't help but bathe, kick and writhe in the sludge and dust with her. She's raised iconic dancefloors worldwide with a style that is an eclectic swag of sex, humour and psychedelia. A collision of expansive beats and seductive evolving moods that have hypnotized Berlin's audiences at Berghain's Panorama Bar for Italorama, Cocktail d'Amore, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Revier Südost, and Sisyphos to mention a few.

Though she's “just a DJ, not a f***ing neurosurgeon”, she is the rock and caretaker of Wrong Era and Slow Motion organizations and parties all over the world; notorious, sweaty meet-ups for all the "not-too-hard tunz" music lovers.

Jumbala! Hailing from Brazil and now living in Berlin, Rotciv has been a long term hero of ours. He has a wavering catalog of fantastic releases on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Freeride Millenium and his own Mister Mistery label. His music's a bit on the darker and experimental side of the dark disco spectrum, and so is this podcast: Rotciv delivered a brooding mix that grips you right from the start, full of wavy gems, acid stompers and hands-in-the-air curveballs.
