This a song that has been with me throughout my journey, having first discovered it at a gig in London (I can't remember which), then performed it at my sixth-form talent show (with a ukelele and no shoes on), then I put a version of it on Soundcloud (under another alias) during uni to less than 50 plays, and when I got back into singing open mics it was one of the first songs in my repertoire. It has influenced my own songwriting and once I actually sung it to "my true love" at the time. So many inspirational artists have done their own versions of it through the years, and I hope that my efforts will also stand the test of time. This pulls together some of my favourite genres: Grunge, Ambient, Techno, Indie, Breaks and of course Folk.
