Back in January 2020 before the world went into madness, we heard Eelke Kleijn drop an absolutely beautiful track as the sun set over the buzzing crowd at DGTL Bengaluru. Over a year passed by before Eelke revealed that the gorgeous tune was the now released 'Skin' by Corren Cavini. Since then we have been wanting to bring Corren onboard the Distant Grooves family. And finally it's happening.

Corren Cavini is the alias of Tilburg-based electronic musician Corne Kamminga. Growing up in a town near Amsterdam he has developed a sound that spans a wide musical range, from groovy techno all the way to ambient-induced deep house. Incorporating inspiration from visual art and natural elements into his creative work, has made the young Dutchman a very versatile artist. Valuing brightness and color as well as technological innovation, Corren Cavini is a techno artist who stands out of the bunch and is here to stay.

Happy New Year everyone! I’m on my way to Brazil as we speak. I’m playing a 5 hours sunset set on January 2nd in Barre De Sao Miguel, on the north coast :) I’ll be taking a few weeks off of the radio show to take a quick break and work on the Hohme Hundred of 2020. Don’t worry though, I’ll be back at it soon.
