We have waited all our lives for something that we thought that will really change us.
Clinging on to a meaningless hope, wasting the time that will never come back.

I can´t find the way to come back again, searching nowhere I´ve just found that I was always blinded by my point of view, trying to reach what I thought was important.

I will never come back where I began.

Sometimes we spend our lives waiting for something that will never be a part of us.

We have waited all our lives for something meaningless, we have wasted all our strength, we gave all what we are, we have spent all our lives waiting for nothing.

I can´t find the way to come back again searching nowhere, I just found I was always blinded, trying to reach what I thought was important. 

I will never come back to the same place where I began.

If we only could leave what keeps our heart chained to this life perspective.

I have tried all my life to find the meaning of all that I don't know, my questions guided me to a lifeless truth.

Conformity consumed my will, tearing away my perception.

Minha Paz

Todos têm opinião sobre o Gloria. Arrisco dizer que a grande maioria, errada. O quinteto paulistano ficou alguns anos no selo Arsenal. Acabou, por comodismo de crítica, colocado no mesmo pacote dos expoentes de lá. Longe de criticar o rock feito pelas bandas do selo, pelo contrário. Mas estamos falando de música! E não de rock tatuado com aderência de público como base de comparação. 
 
Se me perguntarem o que é “(Re)Nascido”, diria que é o disco de metal mais impactante e bem produzido (por eles mesmos e João Milliet) desde sei lá quando no país. 
 
O segredo do Gloria, e do disco, está na combinação de alguns elementos. Duas guitarras - de Peres e Elliot - em afinação baixa, pesadas e graves como quando Tony Iommi primeiro fez uso do recurso. Uma chuva de riffs que costuram as músicas em duelos. A seção rítmica na cozinha baixo (Johnny) e bateria (gravada por Eloy Casagrande) em levadas de dois bumbos por vezes aceleradas e em outras em batidas quebradas a responder às 12 cordas de guitarra. O vocal com preponderância do gutural de Mi, mas por vezes suavizado pelo backing melódico de Elliot. E esta é a única vez que você vai ler ou ouvir sobre suavidade no trabalho. 

Apenas é simplista cravá-lo como disco de metal basicamente por isso. Não há uso de agudos-quebra-cristal nem de virtuosismo exibicionista. O que há em “(Re)Nascido” é raiva contida em 11 cápsulas sonoras. É ira que impulsiona. Sem freio, nem meias palavras. Só fúria. Lufada que mostra que o rock pode vir a ser transgressor novamente. Afinal, não é exatamente por isso que viciamos nele?
