This project was a great opportunity to showcase some of the amazing talent I have come across since releasing the first instalment of Groove Gems; all of whom I can individually consider as close friends and musical inspirations. Furthermore, Groove Gems II also allowed me to solidify my sound (put a stamp on it if you like) and expose listeners to the musical development/growth I have experienced since the last album.

Daniel William is a Rotterdam-based musician/songwriter of English/Irish descent, born in 1990. He developed a passion for bass guitar at an early age and among his musical influences are legends such as Arthur Verocai, The Mizell Brothers & the late Jay Dee.

Danny has worked with Esperanzah aka Pink Oculus in the past and together with Furlan he released the single "When Autumn Leaves Fall" on Kindred Spirits.

Right before he could make a name for himself, he dropped of the face of the earth. Not much of his music has made it into the open, but we thought it was time to unleash an unreleased demo from 2011 titled "Boshanofa" into the wild.

Berlin-based, New Zealand-born Noah Slee has enjoyed a remix by Tall Black Guy for his track "Rampant Wild Free" from debut EP, which was released in March.

TBG has taken the banger style track, originally produced by Ben Esser, and put a more laid-back, old-school hip-hop slant on it, removing the synths in favour of subtle, tinkling keys.
