What a night, it was the first weekend mask orders were lifted in San Francisco and I had the privilege to lay down tracks for all the eager party goers. Also got to get the event started that eventually had the Crystal Method get us all moving with their unique heavy style... all this while benefitting Beats Drop Cancer, an amazing organization that provides cancer patients with sound healing space. Using the EQ knobs more on the mixer is something I've gotten more comfortable with! A bit of experimenting with tracks I've never mixed before so please forgive anything that hurts your ears! Some of the tracks have lyrics that make me think of friends no longer with us. I feel torn about playing them.

Sunday Pwnage part 3:
9am-Noon. A fun sunny romp in a field of friends on a sacred sunday in the woods. We teased a spectrum of genres out of each other and served the crowd curveballs while they served champagne and bacon. We used a lot of vocal sample easter eggs to giggle at upon relistens and had a great time pulling off the final 3+ hours of spinning for sunday smiles (we'd just wrapped up a 3 hour pre-dawn set at FRC campout up the road from Sanctuary 6). We had an absolute blast and thank Strategik for making magic!
