A Little Souvenir

This is a DJ set I recorded live in one shot at home. It's a good example of what I do now. The set starts at 85 BPM and ramps gradually up to 120 BPM over the course of an hour and includes variety of electronic dance styles. The unifying theme is that they all have some kind of world music flavor. About 1/3rd of the tracks are my original production. I improvise live over the tracks on the Linnstrument and keytar.

Because of the BPM ramp a set like this will fit in best in between a DJ playing Dub or maybe DnB and another DJ playing house or techno, or as a ramp up between a downtempo melllowish set and a more full on set. 

I can also go in the reverse direction, starting at a higher BPM and gradually ramping down ... but it's way more fun to bring the energy up than down ;).

Outersect DJ Set March 2024

Recorded this promo mix in preparation for the Stuck On Earth 30 yr anniversary party that took place on 4/27/24 at The Brooklyn Monarch/Meadows in Brooklyn NY. The line up for this historical event was legendary; The Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon, Doc Martin, Charles Feelgood, Frankie Bones, DB, Odi, Danny the Wildchild, Lenny Dee, Love & Logic and the list goes on. I was honored to be a part of this celebration. Thanks to all the crews that put it together and the many years of east coast rave scene who came out to get down together... BRAVO!!
