A diverse range of immersive and hypnotic sounds, expertly curated by the techno artists associated with Basstation. 

Basstation Social Music is a non-profit project funded by homonymous company that has been promoting techno culture in Sardinia since 2004. It's dedicated to transform the local nightlife landscape, with the aim of creating a safer, healthier and more inclusive nighttime environment. This effort is carried out jointly with "Safer Night Goals", an organization committed to mitigating eventual adverse effects and to implement policies within our nocturnal realm. 

In support of this cause, Basstation Social Music is launching a CHARITY COLLECTION to honor the memory of artist and friend Mezmeric, who recently passed away. Causa, the latest release from Stuttgart-based label PREDAWN Records, presents a compelling blend of classic techno textures, intricate rhythms, and experimental soundscapes. The EP delves into the natural principles of motion, force, and matter.
The tracks offer a unique exploration of organic forms: “Continuation” exemplifies motion with its almost melodic texture and well-defined rhythms. “Äthenae” represents matter, characterized by intricate rhythms and sophisticated sound design. The minimalist and focused track “Vis” embodies force within the framework. Pianeti’s reinterpretation of “Vis” serves as the perfect counterbalance to the original, featuring more complex rhythms and richer textures that beautifully complete the essence of the EP.

We’re really excited to share a premiere with you from a close friend of Delayed, someone we know and love - Hassan Siddiqui, or Âsan as he is known musically. Some of you may remember that he recorded the most beautiful & immersive 4 hour journey for us just over a year ago. He has accompanied us at our Delayed getaways in the Catskills & I actually first connected with him there in that same place in the forest, almost 2 years ago. Before he & I met, he had released his debut EP ‘GULP/GAME’ as the first on his own Cellar Door, an imprint which has since blossomed into a catalog of 12 releases from talented artists as well as a mix series & premiere platform. Since then, it has been a joy to watch Âsan develop & grow as an artist.  

From afar, Âsan may appear to be in hibernation but he has in fact been meticulously crafting his sound in the shadows with an incredible attention to detail. More than 2 years after his first solo release, he returns to the public eye with a new collection of music, a 4-track EP called ‘Beychen’. In Âsan’s native tongue of Urdu, this word means ‘restlesss’ or ‘uneasy’, words that are poignantly analogous to the mood & tone of the tracks on the release. ’Bass Bin’ is a track that materialized out of Âsan’s time experimenting with the Buchla Easel. “Except for the kick and clap. Everything in the track is from that one synth. I always try to work with as few instruments and sounds as possible,” he said when I asked about the production process behind the track. “If I can find myself lost & immersed in the end result, I think the listener can too.” He expresses a contemplative, minimalistic approach to techno that is inherent to his production process - filling the space with very few elements & focusing on reusing existing sounds rather than adding more to the canvas. His low end sound choices & mixing approach give his music a very distinct sound & feel. There is this deep thump but at the same time it has a feathery bounce. ”The idea behind the track was to work with bass-heavy elements. I absolutely love working with bass-forward music but a lot of the time, bass-heavy elements don’t translate on huge sound systems where subs are already extenuated. I wanted the grooves to be wall-shaking & the kick to be a punch in the gut.” The result of this process & thinking can be heard below. We’re looking forward to watching our friend Âsan continue his artistic journey.

‘Beychen’, the 4-track, 140 gram vinyl, will be available April 1st on Âsan’s own Bandcamp & stocked at record shops worldwide.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of ABSIS's second EP on the Affin label, titled "Silent Voices." Building on the foundations of his previous work, ABSIS has introduced new facets to his sound, crafting an EP that is both innovative and deeply engaging.

"Silent Voices" showcases a more dancefloor-driven component, seamlessly blending it with a distinctive dubby sound signature. This combination results in tracks that are rhythmically compelling yet atmospherically rich, offering a fresh take on his music.

Unlike much of today's output aimed at being played out, ABSIS's "Silent Voices" approaches the dance floor from a different angle. The music is thoughtfully crafted to create an immersive experience, encouraging listeners to lose themselves in its intricate layers and nuanced production....

Silent Voices is the third EP to be released on our sub-label Affin Serial, which was founded last year.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 89th release — the long-awaited collaborative album by Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer x Chain Selector: Russian Space.

This 18-track album, created across Novosibirsk, Moscow, and a circle of outstanding Russian musicians, transforms the country’s cosmic heritage into a living sonic universe. Each composition is named after a celestial body discovered by Russian scientists — turning dub techno into a language of astronomy reimagined through live instruments, voice, and improvisation. Real bass, live guitars, percussion, saxophone, and vocals turn dub techno into a research mission aimed at exploring the very objects Russian astronomers once revealed to the world.

Every track here is a celestial body marked on the map thanks to Russian researchers. Russian Space becomes a sonic catalogue of national discoveries — not in the form of a textbook, but as a pulsating odyssey where deep rhythm intertwines with live improvisation, and digital precision coexists with human breath. This is not just dub techno — it is a study in motion, where each composition bears the name of a celestial object found by Russian scientists. The result is a sonic atlas of domestic discoveries, rendered in a deep, fluid, and organically cosmic sound.

II. Bass as gravity. Saxophone as the breath of the void.
:::A powerful presence emerges with Real Bassist (@dmitry-maximov-909072505), whose live bass fills 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko and 10711/Pskov with a grounded, bodily depth — turning dub textures into gravitational fields. His tone is dense, flexible, unmistakably “earth-like”, as if holding the listener in the orbital layer of each track.

“Russian Space” is an album where dub techno, live vocals, and acoustic instruments transform Russia’s scientific heritage into an emotional stellar trajectory.
