White Bike is a new project from the husband and wife duo (Nathan Trueb/Mirabai Carter) that make up Tango Alpha Tango, a Portland Rock & Roll staple for over a decade. The couple formed the band with singer, Arianna Rose Anchustegui after she moved to Portland from her home of Boise, Idaho to follow her dreams of working in the music business and one day fronting a band. It didn’t take long for her sultry voice and larger-than-life personality to get recognized by those in the music scene, including Trueb and Carter. Sharing influences like Fleetwood Mac and the Kills, Trueb set out to write specifically for the female voices, and blending his own with Arianna in a dual-lead vocal on some tracks. They officially formed in 2018 adding Robin Levy on drums (Yardsss) and Justin Chase on guitar/keys (Pure Bathing Culture). They successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign to record three songs at Jackpot Studios with Gus Berry engineering/producing.
