This song is about the everyday trials and tribulations in our lives. It's about feeling lost or hopeless but, also being fearless to a degree and, over coming the demons that we continuously run from on a day to day basis. It's about finding strength in ourselves when we can't find it within the fairytales that have been woven into the "white fence" thought process that is sometimes embedded in us by a socialistic standard. Have faith in yourself. It is in that place that you WILL find your "higher power".

Mercy

I wrote this song a couple months after i left the band Egypt Central(co-founder & guitarist)in late 2010.
It's the 1st song i've ever written solo.
This song is very special to me, as it gives you a glimpse of what my life was like through the duration of my music career: almost to the point of giving up. I guess, this is a song about understanding, acceptance, perseverance, redemption, and adaptation.   

Oasis

This song is very personal to me, but it has taken on new meaning for me in-light of the current state of our government, and the state that our world is in now. 



The Path Of Broken Glass

White Lighter Curse is the new project formed by original co-founding member of Egypt Central, Heath Hindman & Luke McLaurine. The new project was formed on Feb 22 2011. We have been in the studio writing and recording with producer Justin Rimer(Breaking Point/12 Stones) and engineer Jason Gillespie on unreleased tracks along with recording new tracks with Producer and engineer John LeCompt (Evanescence/Machina/Even Devils Die/We Are The Fallen) and accompanying musicians Ed Harris(On A Dead Machine/ Surrender The Fall) playing drums as well as Rocky Grey(Evanescence/Living Sacrafice/Even Devils Die/Machina/We Are The Fallen)Playing Drums on "Mercy" and Greg Edmondson(Breaking Point) on bass.
