hear the whisper sends me packing caught me lacking I'm tied down
Sirens blasting like a tornado bout' to happen dont you cry now
I've gotten used to looking over my shoulder
Like someone watching me constantly
Makes my heart start to beat with velocity

In the shadows spiting me
Looking tirelessly for the lights to retire me from this never ending nightmare
Tryna keep the peace
Hear the sound of a creak

On repeat till' I'm stagnant
And I can't move it's entrapment
But something I didn't know until I was older
Is how in life it's bout' how hard you can get hit and then move forward
I know it's hard at times when you're feeling tortured
And it leaves you disordered
Anxiety entirely confining me it's blinding me

Tryna wake up
Tryna find the light but all I see is darkness
Fighting for every breath
Gotta keep moving though I'm losing my mind
Gotta find the time to redefine my life
Don't hide from it
Nightmares Haunting me constantly
Hear them tauntingly flaunting me
So exhausting
It's daunting it follows me
through my darkest times
But despite the pitch black I see eyes staring back
Never ending

Reminding me I'm still here
