Young Miss Saeki (Unga fröken Saeki)is the second movement of four in From the Bottom of a Well (Från botten av en brunn) based on Haruki Murakami's novel Kafka on the Shore. The the sounds were designed from, and the music was written from a grounded theory analysis of the book. The piece was performed and recorded on the 16th of December 2021 by Robert Ek, clarinet; Kevin Kirs Verstege, cello; and Rikard Vilhelm Lindell, eurorack at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Originally a part of the LP "1to0", Ether Field was cut due to time constraint and was not meshing properly with the sequence of the record overall. So it was decided to be released as a single, as a "interlude" to set the stage for the LP to be brought in.

Using digital synthesizers and layering multiple tracks of reversed soundscapes captured by a simple microphone, Ether Field traverses on a journey through various moods that ultimately end in a swirl of pianos and harps.

Whitelabrecs was set up by Harry Towell in late 2015 as another outlet to put out experimental electronic/acoustic music. It followed Harry’s previous labels Audio Gourmet, Tessellate and Warehouse Decay and focuses on a collectable series of highly limited edition vinyl-effect CDr packaging, with the first 50 releases influenced by white label vinyl records. The label also runs a digital only series called eRecords, with each of these releases including a special PDF booklet.
