Call Me - Blondie (White Light Remix)

This glistening synth melody immediately draws listeners in, as Chèlise's powerful vocals envelop the air. The melody picks up speed, as a frenzy of synths twinkle over one another. There's a build of percussion and we feel the intensity rise, before giving way to a euphoric drop. Crisp, high hits are complimented by an 80's pop-synth line, and the percussion rolls on to bring us down for a brief moment of tranquility. All layers fade out entirely before Chèlise's vocals pick up once more. As the chorus rings out for the second time, effects are layered over the vocals, staying true to this dance music record. "Memories" is a dance floor-oriented track, packed with soul and high-energy!

The story of White Light is one of passion, experimentation and dedication. Starting out as a local DJ in Calgary at the young age of 13, White Light's obsession with music and pop culture soon became a personal quest to create something bigger and bolder. His unique vision, which blends 80's pop with modern dance music, quickly caught the attention of the electronic music scene and earned him a spot as an up-and-coming Canadian artist to watch in DJ Mag North America.

In 2018, White Light released three debut singles that pushed the boundaries of a new genre of electronic music, earning him millions of streams on Spotify and establishing him as a rising star in the industry. His music has been described as a modern, new wave soundscape that seamlessly blends retro and futuristic elements into perfect harmony.

White Light's passion for music has always been a hidden pulse in his life, stemming from his early obsession over 80's synth pop, sci-fi and a fascination with the blend of film, design and music altogether. After graduating from the world-renowned Icon Collective Music School in LA, his experimentation, dedication and hard work paid off in building an iconic brand that has been making waves in the electronic music scene.

Today, White Light is currently in the studio, creating brand new music that promises to be even bolder and more exciting than his previous work. He is also lining up international shows for 2024, bringing his unique brand of electronic music to audiences around the world. Fans and critics alike are eagerly anticipating what this rising star has in store next, as he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music and establish himself as a true icon of the industry.
