My name is JD McGibney, and I conquer my battlefield on the wings of dragons.  Sometimes while shredding on guitar, but always through a keen determination to follow my heart... and never actually on a dragon (sadly).

After almost two decades of practicing music and exercising my creativity in any way possible, I have learned that there is no other place I would rather be than on stage or in a studio; to me, music is the key to the universe.

I have traveled the world with some wonderful people, and I have had the opportunity to share the stage with some fantastic musicians.  In my time on this earth, I have come to love reaching out and connecting with the world through that which I love most.

Paulo Janela is a composer and producer hailing from Portugal who leads the one-man metal band XmafaX.

At just 12 years old, Janela started dabbling in music, beginning with the piano and eventually leading into the electric guitar. When he was 12, metal was at its prime with heavyweights like Metallica, Helloween, Anthrax, Slayer, King Daimond, Judas Priest and Pantera dominating the charts. Today, Janela continued to play the guitar, bass and keyboard in addition to other hardware including the midi keyboard and various computer programs.

Constantly inspired by Heavy Metal, Gothic, Industrial and EBM music genres, XmafaX’s music remains unprecedented due to his unique style of mixing many genres together.

I write my own tunes, and arrange words as vocals.
Sometimes, it's Electro; sometimes, lighter Acoustic
tracks; and sometimes, it's straight Death Metal.
I'm getting better as time goes on, at mixing and making
things sound like they're supposed to fit on each other
instead of an ear-full of peaking wave forms.

Also, I do lots of Cover Tracks!
