Electronic music producer and DJ Vicente, known as VCHO, was born and raised in Valparaiso, Chile where electronic music goes all night long. Inspired by techno and house music, VCHO curates a thoughtful experience for his listeners with a beat that can’t be ignored. Now based in the cozy town of Whitehorse, Canada, VCHO plays in local shows and festivals, bringing a unique sound to the North.

Hey everyone, 

I'm Jason and I love making people dance but I like to say: I am more dancer than DJ.

I was born in Colombia and I'm influenced by a strong latin culture, especially by dance and joy.
I moved to Spain and it was in Madrid in 2019 (at the “Paraiso” festival) when I discovered electronic music. I was captivated by the musical variety and above all by the fact that the dancers were focused on the music and respected everyone who wanted to get on the dance floor. This took me back to the parties at my grandmother's house in Colombia, where everyone was welcome, endless dances between people who met for the very first time and a magical shared joy.
Since then the curiosity appeared very smoothly and little by little I was getting into the electronic culture.
I had the opportunity to have my first gigs in Madrid and some raves in Tenerife that led me to develop a deeper curiosity which made me move to Berlin. 
Now Berlin is giving me a new and fresh musical knowledge, where I love to go dancing and discover new artists, new ideas of how to make a set and how to make people dance.
That's my only goal.
