The sophomore release from Edu Imbernon’s new project Fayer comes in the shape of one of the most respected bands of the last 5 years, Metronomy.

On the back of their forth studio album, “Love Letters” comes two stellar remixes from the label boss himself, and French electronic music producer, composer and DJ, Agoria.

Agoria comes with something a little different on his “Love Letters” remix. Stripping out all vocals from the original, instead digging out a previously unused vocal, Agoria creates an off kilter, uneasy, loop driven yet epic monster that has already seen early support from Dixon, Joris Voorn, Maceo Plex, Gesaffelstein...

The exceptionally talented, Copenhagen-based Denis Horvat signs his first own release to Afterlife Recordings in ‘Modelo’, a three-track EP charged with spritely synth lines and charisma. The title track’s nine-and-a-half minute run time makes for a spellbinding journey, as the layers weave seamlessly into a vivid canvas of sound. ‘The Bender’ is more direct, lending itself to peak hours in the club with a buoyant bassline, sharp claps and melody of sirens. Ending the record is ‘Natural Causes’, an entrancing trip through dreamy arpeggios that grooves up-and-down, taking the dancers with it. These three cuts have proven vital in the sets of label owners Tale Of Us and and now see the light of day to continue the theme.

Suulo Vs Curl present a lush trip into ethnic house vibes with their debut on ZEHN records. Despite their young age these two have developed a mature sound that resonates with crowds who tend to search for open spaces instead of crowded city centres. "Tapanas kitchen" catches the vibe of a desert oasis draped in a mirage and is the perfect sound of 2019.

Raised in Solingen, brothers Marius & Fabian found a mutual love for house and disco music from an early age. Through the realization that music connects them in a special way, they started putting on local parties and soon after delved into their own productions. The duo eventually received support from the Kittball Records family appearing on their Ibiza Global Radio show multiple times before signing to ZEHN Records. Their 'City of Belem' EP kick starts 2019 for the ZEHN Records imprint which is set to be yet another productive year for the label following releases from Modul Kollektiv, Los Cabra, Deniz Kabu & Wolfson and Daniel Rateuke.

The EP acts as a tribute to their South American trip a few years back and takes in an array of influences from that journey. Kicking off with 'City of Belem' which maintains typical ZEHN Records aesthetics of organic percussive offerings, journey filled atmospherics and alleviating melodies before delicate synth fluctuations, undulating low end and wonderful euphoric break downs take the focus in 'Tapana's Kitchen'

Raised in Solingen, Germany brothers Marius & Fabian got involved in disco and house music early on in their lifes. Realizing that music connects them in a special way they started out by organizing their own parties in local clubs, trying to spin some tunes. Soon after they began to create some tunes of their own, developing a more deep and melodic style.  Promoted and supported by the Kittball records family they will release their first EP "City of Belem" on ZEHN Records in January of 2019.

A label made of three key players, Berlin’s SOLIDE recently expanded their family, welcoming fond musical acquaintances into the fold with a various artists compilation; Solid(e) State Vol 1. Resuming form, one third of the core, Kalyma, returns for another solo expedition to the club with his ‘Tanger Night Drive’ EP. Berlin-via-Gran Canaria, Kalyma’s percussive style of club music wields a certain charm. Whisking us away on a pacey drive through the Morrocan night, Kalyma rolls through the deep mysticism of Tangier in the title track; ‘Tanger Night Drive’. A pulsing kick and punky bass, meet the melodious tune of steel pan chimes and whispering crickets in the low-line. Tom rhythms and arpeggios intensify, encapsulating the racey, blissful energy of a night in Tangier. Making a complete U-turn, synth-led ‘Arlequin’ brings real rave emotion. Vibey percussion underpins the experience, whilst a distinct air of grit comes through in dubbed out, euphoric keys. “‘Eel Drip’ Is about honouring the dead, the passing of lives within you and beyond you” @penelopetrappes explains. “It’s about physical or emotional change, acknowledging fears, and being true to yourself… reaching your full potential.”

Eel Drip sees fragile arpeggiated electronics and hazy vocals swell to a celestial hallow. It sets a delicate, unhurried sense of peace that flows throughout the EP’s four tracks - both sparse and gentle, yet rushing with light and emotion.
 
The accompanying video was directed by Agnes Haus and inspired by artist Francesca Woodman’s 1970s series of nude self-portraits with Eels. 
 
Of the video, Trappes comments: “In the process of changing and shedding past notions of myself, there is another world between the past and the future.  An eternal state, unknown, warped, slippery, free. Submitting to change, dying… being reborn.”
