The story behind this track:
A first version of this track I uploaded in 2020, when I first thought that it was ready to release :-D. I then realised some issues listening to it on different systems and playing it in DJ-Sets (it didn't quite have the quality of other official releases). So I dived deep into mixing and mastering, learning everything from scratch but with joy. As I didn't pay attention to the frequency spectrum (in particular to the low end) during the recording process,  I had a lot of trouble fixing it afterwards. Meanwhile, I changed my hardware synthesizer, so when I went back to record some sounds again, they weren't the same as I originally recorded. Over time, this track turned into a great learning project for me, and I thought not to release it anymore and keep it just for me - but then I felt that I put so many hours into it that it would be a shame not to release it, especially as this track hardly uses samples but many sounds and loops of my very own. Now I am at the point (again :-)) that I think it is ready to release and has the quality like other officially released tracks that I play in my DJ-Sets. So here it is for your pleasure!  

Another purpose to release it is that I want to explore self-releasing tracks now (and as well to prevent that I start tweaking it again :-D). 

For now, you can just download the file here (mp3, 320 kbps) without any need to register somewhere else or clicking through gates to get it (like with hypeddit).
