Andria (@androan97) delivers a new sound experience as part of our podcast series. DJ, producer, graphic designer and visual-artist he is based in Belgrade, Serbia. His selection is always eclectic and covers a plethora of club music genres. Coming from a background as a producer and dj of leftfield and experimental music, he combines those influences with various UK club genres, their contemporary hybrid forms, and hypnotic techno.
Andria has released music on a variety of labels, including YES, Phase Group and Osàre Editions!, and has worked on graphics for a variety of labels and club nights.

Mutant joyriders in souped-up DeLoreans and Honda civics, street Hurling players with cybernetic counterfeit Adidas limbs, cheap synthetic Guinness is sold to the lower class while the real stuff is hoarded by a neo-gaelic artistocracts. A country divided by Tayto tribalism and destroyed by emerald acid rain. This EP is an inventive genremash of rave, braindance, acid, ambient, grime and other difficult to describe soundworlds. At Nebulae HQ we always had a weakness for Supernova Remnants. They heat up the interstellar medium, distribute heavy elements throughout the galaxy and accelerate cosmic rays. We thought this concept was perfect as a metaphor for our compilations, so here we are with another cosmic trip towards one of this amazing cosmic phenomena.

The Medulla Nebula (or CTB-1) is the expanding gas shell that was left when a massive star toward the constellation of Cassiopeia exploded about 10,000 years ago. The resulting supernova remnant, nicknamed the Medulla Nebula for its brain-like shape, still glows in visible light by the heat generated by its collision with confining interstellar gas.

On the A-side of the vinyl we welcome back w1b0 and the excellent, Ole Mic Odd,  who offer crunchy, dark electronics, perfectly sewn together, producing two future classics, with their bass-heavy electro.

Flip to the B-side and the record ups tempo, with the first track from Larionov & St. Theodore that showcases their slick, punchy electro productions, followed by a spiraling, hypnotic, machine-funk weapon by the brilliant PRZ. The record finishes with Robyrt Hecht's stripped-back electro track with classic Hecht, signature, captivating vocals.
