Who'd a Thunk? is a non-traditional experiment in the creation of music, sound, and the expansion of 'The Funk'. Focusing more on ideas made from passion of sound, rhythm, and feeling, rather than following modern music formula and producing for-profit works, Who'd a Thunk? creates soundscapes aimed to inspire further thought and creation based on an amalgamation of everything listened to, enjoyed, studied, or experienced, and the celebration of our significant circumstances of existing on a planet within an atmosphere where sound is even possible. Feel 'The Funk'. Who'd a Thunk?

As for me, I'm Sean Penalber. Very likely the only one so far. I set off back in 2012 with the goal to investigate the meanings of existence and share any success I found with the universe. That's when I began Drawbook.net and collecting art, information, and experience from the people i met along the way. A few years later, I started @theartofceilings after opening snapchat while my phone was on a table and the camera was pointed straight up at the ceiling and I thought, "hey, that's a cool shot," and I've kept it up since. Couple years later, while visiting a friend in Georgia, he taught me a few chords on the ukulele (I trained in school as a percussionist) and I became obsessed and finally started creating and recording music, something I had always wanted to do! Then, in 2017, I picked up the bass I had owned and hardly played since high school and started Who'd a Thunk?! Since then, I've transitioned over to the keyboard/synthesizer as playing stringed instruments really hurts my hands and fingers. The goal is to create passionate music, pioneer new sounds and genres, and inspire others to do the same! I create music and art to inspire, question, and invoke reality and surreality. I have studied and performed over seven years of Improv and have been an official player at ComedySportz Houston since 2018! I also dabble in performance art so catch me while you can. Thinking about running for president 2028+ after I meet the age requirement of 35, but who knows what'll happen in that time
