This song is simply about today’s climate, when something bad happens, the politicians and loads of people on line shed crocodile tears. In other words they cry when it’s convenient for them, act a certain level of sympathy, then move on. It almost feels insincere at this point, too many people have suffered, and nothing is being done. Now I know there are sincere tears, of course I know, but I can’t hep but point out the insincere ones. “A smile’s cheaper than a penny when the thought behind it’s empty”.
