Alex went to his first rave in 1992 - it was Mind, Body, Soul & the Universe. This was a life changing moment where 10,000 people in a marquee were at one with the music and were riding the highs with the DJ and MC.  The music was what united people from a myriad of backgrounds and parts of society - it was the early stages of what we know has become a global movement today.

Buying his first Technics 1210s in 1994 was the beginning of a passion that Alex still feels to this day. This journey has taken Alex through many genres, from Jungle and Drum & Bass, to Techno, to the House, Latin House & Deep House he plays most today. The focus is always on the quality of the tracks and blending them in a way that produces something which is greater than the sum of its parts.

Alex moved to Australia in 2008 and settled in Perth, Western Australia in 2015. When COVID hit everything moved online and Alex streamed live for one of the first virtual festivals - Blazing Swan Virtual Perception Festival (Australia’s Burning Man), then Colorado’s Burning Man spin off virtual festival and then for Amsterdam’s Dreamuze Theme Camp for Europe’s Burning Man virtual festival. More recently Alex regularly streams online sets for Going Viral DJs and The Pirates of Perth. 

Alex began his residency on Ibiza Stardust Radio early in 2021 which has been a great & ongoing experience. 

As things have started to open up again, Alex has founded a DJ collaborative in Perth called Sonus Sol. They play venues that give them the freedom to do things their own way and create different experiences for their audiences, sometimes including a live vocalist or percussionist alongside the DJs which adds atmosphere and depth to the live performances.

Born in Argentina, Cristian Zumaeta is a young DJ/Producer currently residing in Perth, Australia. His journey in electronic music began in 2015 when he attended Progressive House music events for the first time.

After a few years, Cristian decided to start building his career as a DJ. Since 2020, he has had the opportunity to play his music in various locations in New Zealand, Argentina, and Australia. He has shared the stage with notable artists such as Juan Ibañez, Andres Moris, Luka Sambe, Volen Sentir, Bart Skills, Layton Giordani, Zankee Gulati, Eric Lune, Emi Galvan, Eli Nissan & more.

His sets are characterized by deep, dark, and atmospheric sounds, featuring trademark percussion and a hypnotic groove. This distinctive style makes his sessions memorable for his listeners.

Back in 2000, my friend and I bought a set of decks, some Technics 1210's and slowly grew a collection of vinyl, while living in the heart of London and clubbing my way around the UK. I was all about the music, from progressive house, house and old school rave classics. But then, life took over—I needed space for my growing family when I moved back to Perth, and my decks went into storage.

Fast forward to now, the kids are teenagers, and I've found my way back to my first love, but this time in the digital form. I'm far from a pro and still learning every day, but my passion for both classic and fresh tunes in progressive house, melodic breaks & melodic techno, and minimal tech house is as strong as ever. I have a new found love of liquid DnB & afro house. 

Since finding my way back to the scene I love, I been so fortunate to have connected with so many beautiful people who share the same love and life is pretty sweet right now.

Blossom Festival is designed to be an intimate community event, running annually over the long weekend in September, where you will experience a variety of amazing visual art, performers and a lifestyle village packed full of games, yoga, mindfulness and informative workshops.

Our music is an experience to uplift, capture and expand the hearts of those wanting to feel more deeply. Our music is intentionally selected, sharing our most heart-felt favourites!!

We like to invite a range of symphony's - we call it 'enough to pick you up' - beats that warm and welcome a crowd, taking them on a feel good journey through organic deep rhythms, tribal percussions and elevating melodies followed by our touch of allowing the essence of vocals to speak to you. 

Music for us is what we are, a dance of belief, surrender and the power of sharing our greatest gift which is feeling.
