In his a magnificent re-jam the Zurich based artist adds funky keyboards, live drums and his trademark vocals on top of the opening part of 'ONE'.
Keeping it close to the original, Kalabrese's remix is a real Jam with a loose and organic spirit, giving 'ONE' this dash of Beat that makes you go swing.

The original album of 'ONE' is part of a Gesamtkunstwerk that consists of music, interactive choreography and stage design (5 performers that lead up to 120 people from the audience), theatre, costumes and remixes.

In this „Interactive Performance Installation“ Noema created a funky and absurd universe that tells the story of the interdimensional space explorer Noema, who manifests in four different entities. Because of the energetic state of humanity they got stuck in our dimension and now do performance to power their portal, so we can all be interdimensional again! The performance was premiered at Garbicz Festival 2022.

Noema’s new album is a surreal cosmic journey. The music is part of a comprehensive art piece called “ONE” that consists of music, storytelling, remixes, interactive choreography and stage design, theater, and costumes.  Sun Ra meets Steve Reich meets Larry Levan - imagine it as a “happening” from the 70s.

Over the past year and half, Noema has written and recorded the music with a small orchestra, created the story, texts, costumes, graphics, videos, choreography, and showed an early experimental version at Garbicz Festival 2022.

In ONE, Noema tells the story of his space explorations, in which he manifests as four Interdimensional Space Voyagers. Because humanity has lost their ability to play and connect with each other, these entities became trapped in our dimension and now put on performances to re-power their portal, so that we can all be interdimensional again! During the performance five actors invite up to 120 people from the audience to join the action.

Accompanying ONE is a remix album including artists such as Lauer, Kalabrese, Shubostar, Panthera Krause, Mehmet Aslan, Lovefingers, Kelpe, Here & Now and Nicola Noir. Part I will be released in early 2024.

Open up the gates for 2021, nailing a state of not knowing — or rather, of finding out. Our first guest this year Nathalie Bardin is a French fashion photographer currently based in South Africa. However, music has always touched her in a deeper and more intense way because for her 'it takes you place like nothing else can and also allows you to connect to other humans'. In this sense, Nathalie channels his musical side playing as 'I Mix Naked in my Living Room', sharing chilled and engaging journeys. 

Recorded at her parent's house in 'The Kaaro', a semi-desert natural region of South Africa (where AfrikaBurn takes place), this 196th edition was inspired by a high-spirited morning in Kaaro. In this way, the 47-min mixtape uses as background the lockdown, which has been hard on a lot of people, although also brought so much creativity in this world and allowed us to take our time and explore our emotions deeper than before.

WHOLE SIGN HOVSE SYSTEM
Is a manned space flight program captained by DJ @CrisKai + psych-leaning rock guitarist Ryan Leon + Tape Sampling Experimentation.

WSHS grew naturally out of international DJ Cris Kai and psych-leaning rock guitarist Ryan Leon’s... favorite shared pasttime listening to records and experimenting with sounds.

Working out of their home studio in Atlanta, the pair meticulously curate 90-120 minute trips, most recently centering around flavors of indie, dark disco, minimal, breaks, electro, and deep downtempo. 

Each Whole Sign set is a long late-night conversation between Cris and Ryan; a conversation about the hundred thousand nuances that make a track breathe, about healing ourselves through sound, and the magick by which sharing music brings people together.
