Shankara NZ launch their return to the Shanti Planti space station to
broadcast their new release; Transmission. Radiating other-worldly
signals from the limbo of space, Transmission assumes the state of
weightlessness in the vast vacuum between worlds—severing the tether
to terrestrial boundaries.

Coded with sub-frequency and apparitions of psychedelia, Transmission
is rooted in earthly dub cadence while it’s tendrils reach towards the
borders of territories unknown. Scattered with visions of foreign
forms and taunted by memories of sapien life; Shankara NZ serves to
intoxicate the listener with the unique phenomenon of interplanetary
drifting, all while remaining stationed within Earth’s gravitational
pull. Pack your rations wisely for this journey…

After an unexpected set at Earth Beat Festival in New Zealand on march 22nd this year, Angelika has been invited at Elektrophoria Festival in Tauranga, North of the Island to play beside the Organizers of that night. This set is recorded live at 127-129bpm and mastered by a good friend of her Dj Parazyt (aka Funkhauser) who supports her for almost 20 years and whom she got fully inspired at the time she was just a newborn in the scene back 2005's. Always grateful for this long-last friendship and for his teaching.

Coming from a deep love of audio in all genres of the musical world my mixes encompass the chaotic energy that is my usual brain and life. I create soundscapes with intricate layering of melodic chords partnered with deep wobbly bass lines, or bouncy funky upbeat danceable journeys, often dissonant but somehow drawing to the ear.

Nearly always incapable of staying in a lane, I craft journeys of sound that lead one from a trance like wonder through to dark swampy atmospheres, filled with elements of emotion and raw instrumental and classical elements. I combine genres, bend the rules and blur the lines between dance and journey.

Slowly building a name amongst the NSW and broader East Coast Australian underground music scene. 

Playing events such as, Dragon Dreaming 24, Esoteric Festival 2024, Basscamp 22 & 23, Subsonic, Sub-Terra, Movement, Tribe Ascension, Airwaves, Origins Of Entropy, Void Of Entropy, plus a plethora of smaller local events and a resident DJ and Core Memebr of Newy Bass Crew performing with them at many events around the Newcastle region.

All of my early work will always remain on the profile, covering the journey I have made in my progression of mixing from terrible talentless beginnings to a very mildy more experienced DJ, with a greater sense of my own unique sound and direction.
