Stone Cold Bill Austin, K Bear, and Leighonius Maximus, all best friends, decided to try and learn how to play instruments. Leightonius spent many years writing songs in coat closets before K Bear came along and pulled him out. How ever these two boys were lost in a sea of happy guitar riffs and sad lyrics until Bill Austin came into their lives. Stone Cold held them in his massively over sized arms and gave them the love they needed. After the storm had past these boys were left with nothing but the songs they had created. Now they want to share with the world. Enoy our take on Alternative Pop Rock and Roll!

Joey Bedlam is a singer, songwriter, lover of 1960's fashion, style and architecture.  She is also a model and a graphic designer and a pin-up artist.  DollSquad was Joey's main band for 10 years.  She is now doing some international music collaborations with various bands and writers from Europe and the US.  Even though Doll Squad was courted briefly by Kim Fowley, Joey chose to record DollSquad’s second album with Steve Lucas (of legendary Australian band X) at Bakehouse Studios in Melbourne. Making an album is not like buying a designer pair of jeans. You don’t go to some big-name producer just to get their ‘name’ all over your record. While it was the ultimate compliment to get attention from Kim Fowley, I felt that Australian bands should be utilizing resources at home whenever they can. Having said that there are some immense benefits in international producers for specific sounds that I might be chasing in the future and I am open to that.

Label born out of Miami's long-standing vinyl shop & community space, Sweat Records. Here to release beautiful music & destroy stereotypes.
