Those merits alone can command a dance floor but, combined with a single organ line that is equal parts villainous, psychedelic, and beautiful while being perfectly constructed with a masters knowledge in the art of tension and suspense, they have conceived a magnum opus of grand proportions.

Lighter than Waiting, the second track on the release is called "Easy." Centred round a held cord that rises to hold tension, a sparely used textured vocal washes over the mix and creates the impression of a large open space. Washed in stereo delay the hi-hats and melody part bounce from the left and fill the mix, whilst the ridged kick drum pounds to hold the groove of this epic monster.

Featuring heavily on most of Drumcode’s shows due to his impeccable DJ’ing, Bart Skils is back with a new EP flexing his signature rolling sound and hooks. Caressing from one track to another, the use of pads in this EP and using uneasy sounds to build tension in each track. The swelling bass within each track manoeuvres the tracks into dark after hour’s territory with the help of the subtle percussion.

Hyperactive child of Berlin's techno scene, Housemeister is a key figure of the German and international nightscape. After a long and succesful winter in the studios, the Berlin-based DJ and producer is back on the road and brings us the « Zombie » EP, composed of 5 tracks just after releasing his superb « Ghetto Sessions » on his own label « AYCB » and a remix for the Chicago legend Dj Deeon. A whole lot to follow this year including new music and lots of live dates where Housemeister brings his machines to life on stage.
