Brandon Lee Mejia (born August 30, 1996) better known by his stage name Why Brandon, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who rose to local prominence after his debut single "Gold" created waves across all digital streaming platforms in January of 2020. This Pandemic-fueled success helped Why Brandon secure multiple offers from record companies in the following months. He is of Colombian descent and considers his heritage to be a main source of inspiration to his music.
