Danza Tribale is set to unleash its ninth release by electronic duo Tamburi Neri with ‘Urlo’ the double EP features four original tracks in the first disc and second disc includes four remixes by Berlin techno staple and Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann. 

Tamburi Neri is comprised of Claudio Brioschi and Andrea Barbieri both from Milan, the two producers have previously released together on Optimo Music and Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques De La Mort and a recent album on Worst Records, the latter in collaboration with Japanese vocalist Hiroko. 

The concept of the EP comes from the desire to experiment with distinctive textures, pushing the boundary of what could be considered analog and percussive elements, creating a synergy between the two. 
The title track goes further with these experiments by layering droning arrangements, deep beats, combined with deconstructed spoken word samples. 
In ‘Sognare', the vocals are folded in on themselves and distorted, creating a centre, slowly and rhythmically building. Vocal samples give rise to new forms, rhythmic loops, finally climaxing with the driving, potent quality of the electronics. 
The EP continues with ‘Hashiru' featuring vocalist Hiroko, a spontaneous collaboration in the studio. ‘Hashiru' means to run or to take flight in Japanese, perhaps a fitting metaphor for the work Tamburi Neri have created using beats and loops that pull the listener forward through the EP. 

Dettmann’s participation on these recordings comes natural from his professional relationship with label owner Adiel. 
Adiel and Dettmann have previously shown each other support over the years, with him inviting her to play at curated events such as Bad Manners showcases, special Berghain/Panorama Bar weekend or Draaimolen Festival. Therefore, he gives the quintessential Dettmann treatment to Tamburi Neri’s 'Medina 84' and three versions of ‘Urlo’ with a playful groove on "Built Up Mix”, a deep drive on “Mind Mix” and a melancholic atmosphere on ’Street Mix.

There’s a great sense for taming nostalgia in Lithuanian-born Klimas’ work. Based in Kaunas, real name Rokas Klimas works on setting his signature sound with a great passion for the genres of the past that flourished at the end of the previous century. The production is obviously dipped in Italo,  New Wave, and New Beat more than anything else but also showcases a huge amount of interest for the dancer of modern times through investigations of minimal techno, electro, d’n’b, and dubstep. His allies for getting the more convincing sounds are machines from the USSR era, vintage synthesizers, and other gadgets in the studio. Klimas’ background also includes some action with the Rebel Army group that got its big sound system-ready EP released on Mixmag and VNTGRD labels. 

With his long-term collaborator Tautvydas, Klimas started a label-slash-music-sharing-space in Kaunas called Lempa. As a producer, he promises a lot of stories from the past in the future.

Lithuanian-based artist and the owner of the sunniest bar in Nida resort “Saulės baras” - Emilis San presents his very first track. His long-dreamed ambition for music production finally comes to the daylight in a form of “Particles”. Its nostalgic melody creates a trippy sensation while the boiling and punchy bass line make you move around. Emilis San sends huge thanks to his coach Jonas Calli, who helped him develop an essential set of skills and form his own sound, and Jaroška for neat mastering.

Morken is a master of many different sounds and working the dance floor in the most unexpected ways. He has been a vital resident at Jaeger for 12 years and in that time has built up a hardcore following of open-minded party freaks while also gigging all over Europe and Asia. His eclectic sounds have come on the respected likes of Moonlighting, Full Pupp, Mysticisms and Gravity Graffiti. Back in spring, he dropped his Wild Flowers album 'Reactivate' alongside his friend Kaman Leung and just this month he released the first of two EPs for Snick Snack in the shape of the ‘Giorgio More-Hoarder’ EP. On this new one he’s back in solo mode, busting through your hi-fi with a fusion of Italo, electro, new wave and hi-tech soul. The excellent 'Homansbyen Express' channels melodic charm with textured synth arps reminiscent of early Giorgio Moroder. It has starry-eyed breakdowns and slapping drums with a real sense of cosmic funk. The equally sublime 'Stratosphere' has darker bass and operates in a slower world where snaking leads and hissing hi-hats lock you in for the ride. These are further expressive and eclectic analogue jams from studio wizard Øyvind Morken.

Producer Plastico has been experimenting and playing for a long time, with his unique sound. Now he lands on Melómana Records with Ghetto House, an album consists of four original tracks and a remix of the great Alejandro Paz. The album, oriented to the dance floor, is presented with the firm intention of giving a necessary and demanding twist to the dancefloor.
The whole of this album is the summary of many days fiddling with exceptional analog synthesizers, until finding a sound full of color, organic and meandering, which manages to filter through each pore of the skin until we are completely electrified. Each track gets the listener out of himself, open his mind and light the flame of hope, in a world where it seems that he has lost all idea of the future. And more, in a situation like the one we are experiencing, such an album is a breath of fresh air.
Plastico tries to transmit his particular personality and vital project in this deep and personal Guetto House, timeless and full of strength, to which we will go over time trying to decipher that magical and complex mechanism that manages to transcend all the expectations of dance music.

When it came to making big decisions, he always sat on the fence. He preferred to play it safe and not upset the apple cart, but sometimes that backfired. Those around him urged him to take risks, to occasionally listen to the devil on his shoulder but politeness always reared its head. 

In September, Inside Out Records welcomed Hivern Discs alumni Steve Pepe to the family for his off kilter LP Vivere in Diagonale. As a follow up to the release the label has enlisted a host of producers to put their own spin on several of the tracks off the release, bringing their own unique textures and flavours to the table. Reinterpretations come via label mates Stevie R and Parisinos, Salon des Amateurs mainstay Tolouse low Trax, Ninja Tune producer Lamusa II, Huntleys + Palmers affiliate nICo and Macadam Mambo & fellow Hivern Discs collaborator Eva Geist who delivers an acoustic, nostalgic rework of 'Il Diavolo'.

Founder of the online media Heeboo and DJ resident for Chosen Family parties at famous La Station-Gare des Mines club in Paris, Adeline Journet, aka F/cken Chipotle, started producing music during 2020 summer. Former member of the feminist collective Barbi(e)turix, she runs every month a radio show for Station Station radio, called C’était Mieux Demain (It used to be better tomorrow).


In 2020 she left her job in brand content and took a break to start producing music. After a few months she made her closest people listen to it, and also the DJ Pasteur Charles who motivated her to send her first track to the queer platform for young producers, Les Disques Du Lobby. On dec. 16, No Filter was online. Angry, troubled, stormy, No Filter is a sweet and sour track aimed at making people dance and cry at the same time, without pretension, but more than promising. 


The story for Yolo is way different. Yolo is about finding peace and joy when stuck in a crisis situation. Yolo is about the celebration of what’s left after the storm. Yolo is about seeing the light at the end of the corridor. Yolo is about inside movement and change. «Bring the palms together, inhale in, deep breathe, here we go»
