Things I love to play or hear at sunrise, as the moon shows her face, on a train, watching rain on a window, having those early moments with friends warming up for a night ahead, bleary-eyed swaying with new connections on the dance floor as the day starts to crack through the windows of the club, on a long drive home, or as a backdrop to cherished, deep and sometimes nonsensical chats somewhere around a kitchen table or sunk deep in a lounge relishing in the night that was. A lot of these have been closing tracks, or openers, hidden on a B2 or snuck into a compilation, so to put them all together as a special tribute to the sparkly, deep, sometimes acidic, sometimes soaring things that make my heart swell and I can’t help but move my body to.
