In 2022, Fixed Rhythms released Marcela Dias Sindaco’s “Rio de Janeiro 3025 EP”. Now the label is proud to welcome her back for a brand new 10 track sequel entitled “Cidade Fantasma”. Vintage synths borrowed from her father, her icy but inviting spoken Portuguese lyrics, her characteristically straight to the point and funky yet mysterious electro…it’s all woven together in this brilliant exhibit of an artist who hears dance music in a singular way and who masterfully delivers her vision to the listener. Spazio returns after a year break with a new release from Pavel Fedoseev, the famous drummer of Gnoomes and a talented representative of electronic music from Perm. His project KIKOK brings you a surreal sound that mixes intoxicating electronica, techno and new beat music.

Cacao Beach is a surreal synth sound that is a trippy and wonky mix of intoxicating electronica, techno, and newbeat music. One of the standout tracks on this release is ""Cacao Beach"". It's a driving and tantalizing bass tune with a melody stuck in your head that won't leave you indifferent. The remix by our resident Moonoton adds even more drive and makes it a club new beat hit.

If you want to go on a high-energy night journey, the track ""Flight In The Night"" is perfect for that. The remix by Yakovets makes this track even more hypnotic as if you were in Gaspar Noé's films.

And the closing track ""Silver Pan"" is a real techno-thriller that will keep you in your seat. The bass line of this track just grabs you and doesn't let you go until the end."

Now the Donegal artist readies his latest dual-single. Channeling inspiration from contemporaries such as Jordan Nocturne, Cormac, Gerd Janson, Optimo and Erol Alkan, 'Stellar Symphony / Infinite Nights' is a double-dose of throbbing, peak-time Dark Disco, House and Electro.

Deeply psychedelic and aimed totally front-left of the club, the release is informed by Scoobz' deep love for crate-digging and sourcing glorious B-side oddities.

Released in 1997, this collaboration between Snitzer & Mc Coy and Humate captures the intensity of European techno at the time. The Heavy Mix rhythm presses forward with a force. Synth lines swell in arcs that hover above the drums.

The combination of producers brought together different strengths. The drive and weight of Snitzer & Mc Coy with the melodic sensibility Humate had honed across records like Love Stimulation. The result is a piece that can fill a floor while keeping an edge of mystery intact.
A defining release for Superstition and a track that has carried its power into new generations of listeners, it holds its place as part of our Classic of the week selection.
