In A side we have AT64, a Nu Skool Breakz influenced track and a remix of the same track by the great DJ Normal 4, where you can expected breakbeat and trance vibes. To close this side we have AT61, an electrobreak with trance sounds track. In the other side AT55 opens the record with an euphoric breakbeat track and another remix of the same track by R.I.P. Bestia where as usual you can expected true 90s cyberdelic dreams.

For its first release, Binding System introduces Acidulant's My Vision Of Space, a five-track EP that masterfully blends electro, acid, and techno. Hailing from Malta, Acidulant is known for his raw, space-driven soundscapes and high-intensity production, which are on full display throughout the EP. Each track is a journey into deep, otherworldly realms, with punchy basslines and sharp synths creating a truly immersive listening experience.

The title track, "My Vision Of Space," is the heart of the EP, offering a hypnotic fusion of acid lines and cosmic rhythms. Belaria, the label’s founder, adds her own take with a slower remix that retains the original’s soaring energy, emphasizing its atmospheric depth while giving it a more expansive feel.

Wow, how time flies. I can’t believe I am putting out record number five already. This release comes from star of the future @adampits. I have known Adam for a long time as he was a few years below me at school and then proceeded to go to uni in Leeds like I did. He is from the same crew as Breaka, and there must be something in the water up there because these guys and the rest of their mates are producing the best shit in town right now. 

It is a privilege to put out Adam’s first piece of wax because these two tunes are dynamite from start to finish.
Socket Power, simply put is what you would call a bomb. I have been playing it out for the last six months and without fail it destroys the dance floor every time. That second drop hits, people go nuts, and the ID crew come straight over with their phones at the ready. Danger danger...

As is customary on Holding Hands the B side doesn’t slow down in the slightest. Balance Beam is a combination of spacey European techno mixed with South London 2-step. I hope you like getting repeatedly pummelled by sub bass hits because that is what you are signing up for when you give this one a spin.

For the B2 I have enlisted the remix duties of one of the baddest people in the game. @junq has been putting out the electro tinged bangers for many a year now, and he has truly smashed this remix out of the park. You should have seen the stank face that I was pulling when I first heard it in the studio. As cool as it gets...

All three tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms.

Gentrified Underground presents an interdisciplinary project
tackling the sonic fiction & afrofuturism of Drexciya. 
Thought as an extension to the Bubble Chamber exhibition happening at Mikro & UP STATE Zürich, GU releases a 2x12 vinyl compilation and a booklet with contributions by Abdul Qadim Haqq, Charlie Mills, chukwumaa, Dominiqueh White, Gentrified Underground, Maïté Chéniere and tracks by Xor Gate (Gerald Donald), Shawescape Renegade, DJ Dijital, Plant43, The Exaltics, Kuldaboli, Iko, Tom Ware, Luz1e and Sansibar.

The goal of this compilation is to showcase the reach and influence which Drexciya had through generations of electronic music producers and also link them together with compositorial predecessors from the early 80s. The musical timeline on this compilation starts from 1982 and reaches its contemporary end in 2019.

"More than twenty years after their first release, the sonic
fictions produced by Drexciya, the Detroit based electronic
duo founded by James Stinson and Gerald Donald at the
start of the 1990s, continues to enthral contemporary
cultural practitioners. By reimagining the Transatlantic
Slave Trade as a fiction of enforced mutation, the Drexciya
mythos opened, and continues to open, a speculative space
for the reimagining of the posthuman condition, and for
questions of becoming, origin and mutation in relation
to capitalism, finance and futurity." - Kodwo Eshun

The booklet contains unseen and unreleased Drexcyan drafts by Abdul Qadim Haqq, an interview between him and GU, contemporary art contributions by chukwumaa, Dominiqueh White and Maïté Chéniere and an academic essay by Charlie Mills.
