Exclusive: Volantis & Nicodemo - Spaziotempo (Bell Towers Remix)

Milano based imprint Alzaya kickstarts the golden era of the 20s with Volantis & Nicodemo's Spaziotempo EP, which is four original tracks strong and additionally contains remix works from Andras and Bell Towers. The latter, known for his works on Public Possession and his homage respectively his pleasant anticipation I'm Moving To Berlin was released on CockTail d'Amore and the follow-up of it, Another Lonely Night In My House/ Berlin, on ip editions. However, it was his Rohan's, Bell Tower's real name, EP Want You (Need You) on Public Possession that put him on the radar of artists and lovers of the art. Equipped with remixes from Tornado Wallace, Deep Dean or Wolfram certainy helped Bell Towers to spread his intriguing groovy sound out there and gain the recognition it deserves. His latest strike now is a remix for Milano artists Volantis & Nicodemo and their track Spaziotempo, which he reworks in a continuous 80s/ Italo Disco take with its melodically heights and lows and foremost an irresistible flow that makes it hard to resist the track's cosmic almost hypnotic vibe taking over one's sanity of the mind to make one let go in the beat of the moment.

'Legend of Sheitan' is the third EP of the french evil duo Sheitan Brothers (Patrick Lallemand & Pierre-Marie Oullion) who team up for the occasion with on of the most prolific french house producer so called Sampling As An Art (aka S3A) Max Fader. Together they create Sh3itAn an artistic project who plan to combine the worldwide music digging knowledge of the duo with the groove and the technic of S3A. Before this ep they self release a first attempt two years ago with an edit of a french boogie song from the early 80's turn into an acid slow disco track named 'Parfum d'Acid'. After this they decide to come back back with a big EP (5 tracks) after an intense producing work in 2020.

Today she'd decided enough was enough. Too much time had been wasted on unworthy people; too much brain power invested in things beyond her control. Her anger at the world was more than justified but for a as long as she could remember she'd let it consume her everyday life. There was only so much she could do, only so much she could say; sitting with the feeling of being helpless was simply an inevitability she had to deal with. It was time she vanquished her angst.

Cosmic party starters and music platform Viscera took their first steps into the label world last year with the release of their first Galactic Service Broadcasting compilation. A sophomore comp followed, continuing their journey into the 'furthest reaches of the dance-floor cosmos', and now they're gearing up for their first digital EP: a batch of low slung, psychedelic creations from Jakarta-based producer Komodo.

Guitar stabs, acid lines and dub-wise rhythms form the basis of the release, which comes complete with remixes from Club Blanco boss Chez De Milo and the inimitable Jonny Rock who brings his signature oddball touch to twist the original into a mind-expanding re-dub.

I drive without emotion. I calculate each curve. I know that I will soon be the hero in the Grand Prix. With Albert One’s lyrics ringing in their ears, steeling their nerves, a new generation of high-octane fuelled drivers fix their headphones and helmets. Formula One, the partnership of DJ Rocca and Aimes, rev their synth engines with the glinting ‘Digits’ and Racing 3000 is underway. The duo has some welcome surprises on-board, the spirited vocals of Fred Ventura for ‘Into My Life’ and the emotion-injected words of Hard Ton for ‘Step By Step’. Exhaust pipes flare and we’re cruising into the chicane of the title piece. Daring synthwork and lush notes are propelled forward by clean percussion as cheering faces flash by. An extended pit-stop is called. ‘Cocktail Time’. Caribbean cool and Latin rhythms are the tone set. Glasses clink and the barroom baritone gives voice to a world of electronic disco lounge. The tempo changes as darkness falls and Francesca Bono sings us a late-night love lament streaked in neon hope. No time for regret. Back behind the wheel and arpeggios rumble as ‘Turbo Slam’ glides from the city and back to the track. The chequered flag is in sight. Formula Uno are set for ‘Home’ as they shift into vocoders for a bright and free finish.
