Electric Shapes returns with their next release, a comprehensive album by Rambal Cochet. The psychedelic-inducing release features slow and trance-y chuggers inspired by India's iconic Goa. Next to the 7 original tracks by Rambal Cochet, the release comes packed with remixes from Jokios Kulturos, the Frankfurt-based Tassilo and the Athenian Anatolian Weapons. "Beatrice Dahl’s Jungle Fever” is taken from "Apolithoma" by Veslemes (aka Felizol) (Optimo Music, Byrd Out, Macadam Mambo) and marks the 30th release on Invisible Inc. Spread over two discs, the album was inspired by (and feels like a soundtrack to) the dystopian literary works of JG Ballard. On board for the trip are an assortment of guest collaborators and performers and the result has been described as having “a lot of depth" and "one of the best releases of the year so far.

PREMIERE | Veslemes - Beatrice Dahl's Jungle Fever [Invisible, Inc.] 2021

Two of the most promising producers of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene joined forces to deliver the forthcoming release of the respected label Espacio Cielo: Lucare (SXDNS175) and Aurum Miles present “Demonomania”, a devilish and intense EP featuring two spirited originals and three lively remixes provided with love by an international selection of top-notch artists: Mexico-born/France-based Leonor (SXDNS034), Spanish Lebollet (RASTROLIVE004) and Belgium duo Marching Machines.

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “demonomania” can be defined as “a delusion of being possessed by evil spirits”. The condition has surely not affected the lads but the same cannot be said of their synths: The sonority they conveyed sounds fiendish and infernal – undoubtedly, the dance floor will say thanks!

Premiered here, Leonor’s crushing remix of “Taste Of Your Mushroom”: In his interpretation, the mayor of Tournus opted for a darker instead of a more percussive (and characteristic) atmosphere, investing in a fatter bassline and ominous synth layers – the dance floor will also certainly say thanks!

It is grounding and can induce a higher state of consciousness. Combine that with dancing and you are now moving the energy, freeing your body from stuck emotions.

This is the purpose of this album. These are the tools for the modern shaman.

Random Numbers is proud to present its newest V.A. release, the most ambitious to date, which sees the contributions of 16 producers close to the label and kindred to the sonic quest Random Numbers has been pursuing since 2015. 

“Second Wave” is the organic continuation of the journey initiated with the V.A. Parallel Routes, released at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown.

This collection of 12 tracks - like the 12 months that have just passed, delivers a multi-faceted testimony of our experience with the pandemic, translating feelings of absence, desire and necessity into a mind-bending sound exploration.

Despite crossing a wide range of tempos and genres, a common thread is found in the mystic, trippy and ritualistic atmospheres that populate this release. The metamorphic nature of each track continuously surprises the ears, blurring the boundaries between heady listening experience and dance floor bliss.

Selection for my friends Thomass Jackson & Iñigo Vontier from @calypsorecs, which is a home for @plot_pilot music - my project with Tumosa.
Mix was inspired by the first gig after 8 months break at 313 Cable park in Palanga (shouts to all the dancers - you were amazing!), selected in the sky, while flying all over the Europe and finally finished in a small beautifull town of Deià in Mallorca. It contains lots of my favorite vinyls and some of the new digs - 
perfect introduction to the sounds you can expect to hear me playing this summer. Hope you’ll enjoy - see you soon in the dancefloors.

Belly Dance Services garnishes late summer season with VARIOUS WORLDWIDE III – it’s the third VA chapter featuring five different artists from across the globe.

The journey starts with Tel Aviv based producer LOTT. CAMELS DON’T RUSH, is a great opener driven by one chunky bassline blended with acidic synth elements. A massive tune that shows LOTT’s talent to fuse eastern sounds with western house music inspired elements.

Track two comes from DUCATI FLUX, he’s the Co-Label-Head of Berlin based Odd Pleasures and half of Random Atlas. With NAHUAL, the virtuoso of chilean origin gifted us with a catchy dark tune that is full of playfulness and shows the catchy creative side of the producer.

The third track comes from berliner HEIDENREICH featuring singer OBENOHNI. THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING is not just the name of the song, it’s also what this indie stepper musically stands for. A psychedelic voyage driven by sudden suspense, and also the intense vocal elements make you feel like in a interactive dance cabaret.

The fourth masterpiece comes straight from Amsterdam by PERDU who recently had his release on Live At Robert Johnson. IS IT YOU, FEAR? is a gloomy obscure composition that is guided by percussive elements and builds up to a banquet of trippy grooves.

The final countdown is delivered by Mexican ULISES ARRIETA. CONSTRUCTIONS is dark disco at it’s purest manner: metallic drums creating a sticking melody and the vocal samples that reappear… will make the crowd go bonkers.
