The first in a series of various artists to be released by Details Sound - The Spirit Of The Age Vol. 1 is a personal attempt to represent "the spirit" of this moment, an eye on the sea, where the initial intention of powerful and dynamic body music is changing, leaving room for a more contemplative and reflective way of dancing, where large places give space to the little ones, taking back the original spirit of being together.

On the A side, Anatolian Weapons opens with A Series Of Changes - a progression of looped vocals and acidic basslines that culminate in a full, liberating rhythm. Following A Hand Modern Cage focuses on a more hypnotic and evocative soundtrack that can perfectly match an atmospheric opening.

On the flip Gamma Intel’s Note To My Love deliver a mix of broken and electro rhythms that are part of the artist signature sound, ending with an intricate weave of melodic basslines. The last track Dense And Ragged is signed by the renowned london-based duo Vactrol Park who set the mood for a distopyan trip in 2049.

PREMIERE: Anatolian Weapons - A Series Of Changes [Details Sound]

Two of the most promising producers of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene joined forces to deliver the forthcoming release of the respected label Espacio Cielo: Lucare (SXDNS175) and Aurum Miles present “Demonomania”, a devilish and intense EP featuring two spirited originals and three lively remixes provided with love by an international selection of top-notch artists: Mexico-born/France-based Leonor (SXDNS034), Spanish Lebollet (RASTROLIVE004) and Belgium duo Marching Machines.

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “demonomania” can be defined as “a delusion of being possessed by evil spirits”. The condition has surely not affected the lads but the same cannot be said of their synths: The sonority they conveyed sounds fiendish and infernal – undoubtedly, the dance floor will say thanks!

Premiered here, Leonor’s crushing remix of “Taste Of Your Mushroom”: In his interpretation, the mayor of Tournus opted for a darker instead of a more percussive (and characteristic) atmosphere, investing in a fatter bassline and ominous synth layers – the dance floor will also certainly say thanks!

Random Numbers is proud to present its newest V.A. release, the most ambitious to date, which sees the contributions of 16 producers close to the label and kindred to the sonic quest Random Numbers has been pursuing since 2015. 

“Second Wave” is the organic continuation of the journey initiated with the V.A. Parallel Routes, released at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown.

This collection of 12 tracks - like the 12 months that have just passed, delivers a multi-faceted testimony of our experience with the pandemic, translating feelings of absence, desire and necessity into a mind-bending sound exploration.

Despite crossing a wide range of tempos and genres, a common thread is found in the mystic, trippy and ritualistic atmospheres that populate this release. The metamorphic nature of each track continuously surprises the ears, blurring the boundaries between heady listening experience and dance floor bliss.

Selection for my friends Thomass Jackson & Iñigo Vontier from @calypsorecs, which is a home for @plot_pilot music - my project with Tumosa.
Mix was inspired by the first gig after 8 months break at 313 Cable park in Palanga (shouts to all the dancers - you were amazing!), selected in the sky, while flying all over the Europe and finally finished in a small beautifull town of Deià in Mallorca. It contains lots of my favorite vinyls and some of the new digs - 
perfect introduction to the sounds you can expect to hear me playing this summer. Hope you’ll enjoy - see you soon in the dancefloors.

@inflectrecords is releasing its debut V/A compilation entitled ‘Arche’ (the ancient Greek word for ‘origin’ or ‘beginning’). It represents a beginning, the opening cannon in the Inflect Records' artillery. The tracks themselves originate in the present but also represent times gone by, a showcase of colourful storylines which are open to interpretation to evoke a personal emotional expression.

On the darker side of this compilation, @jaroska showcases what it would be like if time really could bend, with an ominous soundscape full of abstract elements and traces of demonic noises. A real party track.
