Camion Bazar started out as a festival nomad stage, partying and playing hybrid sets all over Europe. .Over the years the project has grown, becoming a well-known dj duo and throwing notoriously crazy parties. The duo also found their own label, Jaki Records.

Honeymoon 20, (their debut EP) plays like a trip, a nice, happy, smooth start to a strange year, getting progressively harder and darker. This release illustrates how they somehow got through it all.

A – "Beow" is a moody deep & dynamic Chicago house style tune. Featuring deft melodic touches and some killer bass, the track is densely layered with piano & synth phrases.

B1 – "Baby 100 coins" : An energetic deep house groove, made up of layers upon layers of pads, synths and rich melodies, a groovy warm-up weapon! 

B2 – "YLB" begins like a classic 2-step garage track before moving into hard-techno territory, the tune grabs you and pulls you up, higher & higher, until you lose control and have a break from reality. Chopped rhythm, huge kicks, crazy breaks. Just let go!

The Gerd Janson “Go Acid Dub” will get it’s own release alongside inspired “Elevation” and “Alternate” versions of the title track by Tiga himself. Tiga said of the Janson mix, "my best friend Gerd delivers a monster acid house party jam. pony tail slammer.”. Janson modestly replied, “(I’m) Flattered to be asked by the one only Tiga to lay hands on him and his voice, while being unable to supersede his original, the remix efforts resulted in an "acid dub" that tries to toughen things up. R&S welcomes Acid Mondays for a 12" of lysergic house music that reaches far into the outer cosmos. 
Formed "somewhere in the 5th dimension” Acid Mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts Negghead (Dan Ward) and Lex Wolf (Alex Wolfenden).  

Repeated transformative visits to Ibiza culminated in landing regular slots at Circoloco where they have been testing this tune in the dance all Summer long. 

‘Universal Rhythm’, their latest interstellar dispatch and debut on R&S is their finest work to date. An anthemic paean to the cosmos that features an impassioned spoken word missive from shamanistic MC Shovell, impressively recorded in a single take, making the case for the universality of experience and oneness of all beings.  

Latin rhythms fuse with a driving Fender Rhodes lick (provided by JD73) and percolating cow bells to hypnotic effect. This calls to mind a combination of classic Carl Craig and Villalobos at his most playful. R&S new signing The Maghreban supplies a killer dubbed out take on the original that strips away the heavy kicks and pumps up the percussion, hurtling the synth pads to the fore that comes on like John Carpenter peaking on MDMA.

In January of 2003, The Bunker started as a weekly party at subTonic in the Lower East Side of New York, sometimes attracting mere dozens of people every Friday for the first year. Fifteen years later it’s grown beyond an established party to encompass a record label, long-running podcast series, radio show, North American booking agency, and is now an internationally respected techno institution. In the past few years, we’ve watched our resident DJs go from local heroes to busy touring artists and have presented The Bunker parties around the world in places we never thought that we’d go to much less play.

To celebrate our 15 years of existence, we present this 26 track, 3+ hour compilation of artists from The Bunker NY label, our agency roster, and a few new members of the family. Most of these artists you should already know, but we’re very proud to present the debut productions from rrao, Abby Echiverri, Coward, and LDY OSC., all of whom have been involved in The Bunker community for years.

Due to the time-consuming nature of vinyl pressing and distribution, we wanted to experiment with the immediacy of a digital-only release to provide an extremely fresh example of where The Bunker family of artists are at right now. As with all releases on The Bunker New York, everything has been mastered with loving care by Neel at Enisslab in Rome. For those who love objects to go with their digital music purchases, we are offering a very limited edition of this release exclusively on The Bunker New York Bandcamp that includes a Common Name-designed deluxe boxed USB with all the tracks, a long sleeve t-shirt only available as part of this release package, stickers, and an immediate lossless download on release day. It’s 6:66am when Chinaski elbows his way on to the floor. Leather jacket. Metal studs. Bare arms. Tattoos. With his hand freshly stamped this newcomer brazenly strides into the Bordello. His style? Try to pin it down. Beats parry and pound with the intensity of an EBM hammer. Yet, strolling through those meaty kick drums stride shimmering melodies that sport elements of new beat, italo and techno. The rakish grooves of “Surfin’ Dead” occupies the A-Side. Bold rhythms fly in the face of burbling bass and cascading chords as Chinaski takes control. A body pumping work out follows. “Unschuld Der Sinne” throws beat shaped fists from the needle drop as a brawl breaks out. Born in the smoke machines of Belgium, this bruiser balances its rough edged rhythms with beaming bars. There’s to be no relenting as the closer screams like a nitro-fuelled missle. “Ab In Die Ewigkeit” soars is a muscle-bound sky rocket set to keep any floor rumbling to the break of dawn.

The Party We Could Have

Taking us on a journey of neo-nostalgia, Northern UK artist REES lands on the English label Zone Focus with an essential four-track EP. Over the past year, he has taken steps in sculpting his own distinct Italo-Disco-esque style, taking influences from both his eclectic record collection and extensive touring experiences. The “Panoramic Love” EP is the culmination of these influences, making a nod to the 80s with a heavy focus on synths and drum workouts. “This was an entertaining EP to make, the majority was me sitting down in my studio hitting record and jamming until something sat right. There wasn't a huge amount of gear involved, just an Arturia Keylab MIDI keyboard, my VSTs and the occasional Roland TR-8”, said REES.

“Dorman Long”, the track we were given to premiere, delights listeners with bright synth leads and a groovy bassline, perfect for sun-drenched days. It pairs perfectly with a caipirinha (yes, we tried). With its retrofuture/Italo Disco-ish aura, the theme is, in our opinion, the banger of the EP. Kudos to both REES and Zone Focus for this great release.

Exclusive: S3A - Law & Panic

After Pasteur & Tsy's Maximal Dance EP Paris based label Community Center extends their catalogue with four delighting tracks from S3A, also known as Sampling As An Art. Having built up a repution with both, DJing and producing over the past years, the Parisian artist can call labels like Crystal Grooves, 4lux Black or Dirt Crew home for his sample heavy soul infused house-tracks. This time though S3A's followers are redeployed to the club, the dance floor and witness a mixture of breaks, rave and (old-skool)HipHop samples making one instantly move to rav-ish underground vibes. Law & Panic's shuffled drums as well as charming yet winding synth melodies are a perfect (ex)sample of how to re-arrange influence elements and sounds from various genres to make it to one piece of music without crossing the thin of line of becoming another forced take.
