Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.

Their first release as a label follows the same principle: Adam Pits, Angel D’lite,
Bliss Inc., Cromby, D. Tiffany & Dugong, DJ TEETH, Desire, Dylan Forbes, E-Talking, Eoin DJ, Frederik Tollund, Inner Zone, Kasper Marott, Lisene and Running Hot all contribute to a VA that represents the nexus point where multiple axes of the current club landscape converge. Futuristic neo-prog and razor-sharp tech house, heavy progressive rollers and massive dancefloor bombs, percussive acid workouts and lush, synth-driven HD prog, neo-trance vocal euphoria, feel-good house, dreamy breaks and UK rave nostalgia: It’s all here, colliding on a VA that explores the spaces inbetween and a vision of things to come.

100% of the profits from the VA and launch party go directly to Transgender
Europe and Mermaids, two organisations doing essential work supporting and
advocating for trans and non-binary youth in Europe and the UK.

Along with the move down under for label owner, Lucid Distraction, has been a fresh lens to view the music and culture around the world with a shift in taste for the label and A&R efforts. Lucid has come up with a VA compilation series to reflect the new chapter for himself and the label with the personal and creative evolution in his journey. Calling the series 'Breaking Boundaries,' the compilation is starting off as with volume 1 encapsulating the high-octane vibes with also having a fun Australia 'No Worries' twist on things. Garnering both local Australian and international talent from around the world, this series will be sure to make waves in the global underground dance community. Mycelium Syndicate, the Parisian-based label & collective, aims to create a bridge between Trance and Break genres, the whole of their work being brilliantly illustrated by the graphic artist Bybylei. Eclectic, always surprising and yet very coherent, they have achieved this improbable synthesis overall their label releases and parties.

In this 4th EP, the talented multidisciplinary artist Neptune B sends us in his cosmic landscape, skillfully linking both his trippy universe full of acid basslines, groovy broken beats and mysterious melodies, and a soft club dynamic closer to Progressive Trance and Tribal drums.


The EP ends with Vitaline's remix of 'Interdimensional Propulsion'. Vitaline may be a young producer, but she's a very profilic and talented one, her uncountable productions go from Acid Broken Beats to Progressive Trance, but all in all her aim seems to be to mesmerize her listeners in a rich galactic universe. In this remix, her latest Latin Bass influences can be clearly felt in the way she seems to orient the track for a more club-like use. The heavy bassline is immediately balanced by a softer melody, creating the perfect equilibrium between dance and meditation...
