NOAR - a young collective of enthusiasts in electronic music from Dresden.

Currently funds are raised via Start Next to realize the first pressing.
The aim is to bring locals from dresden and eastern germany on the screen of like minded people. The scene is bursting with talents and audiophiles of several generations and therefore we want to give these talents a platform and make their output accessible to like-minded people.

Matt Parent lived in NYC for the past decade cutting his teeth as a live performance artist and DJ. He released two LPs, one on Chem Club and most recently on Acid Camp. He has also released on compilations for Lost Soul Enterprises, Machine Jazz, Blankstairs, Microtones, and Mysteries of the Deep. He’s also a member of the group SEER with Maroje T. They released on Chem Club, Detour, Machine Jazz, and most recently Ghostly International's Spectral Sound. 

Currently living in Philadelphia,
CG animator by day as well as a college professor,he also finds time to mix and master tracks for labels and friends as well.

Dalmata Daniel presents the sixth instalment of their DDS split series, manifesting a relentless torrent of raw, bumping beats and electric thunderbolts: Kraków-based Olivia brings her otherworldly sequences and hazy reverberations, while hailing from Tel Aviv, Rapha delivers acidic treatments and sinister, menacing tones of a dark, untold future.

Side A opens up with ’Freak’, where Olivia’s swirling synth arpeggios quickly aim to enchant all listeners, tangling up their brainwaves with several layers of wicked, throbbing beats. Continuing her witching hour, ‘Odejdź’ introduces off-kilter pulses, cries and whispers in a dungeon, where no one can find the exit. Echoes tremble and screams get distorted in the dark, moist and uncanny aisles of these non-Euclidean spaces. Hyperbolic and demonic, hypnotic and manic: ‘Odejdź’ puts ashes in our eyes and takes us to places we never thought were possible in this bleak realm of our world.

Flip the record, drop the needle and let side B commence: Rapha opens up with ‘Aggressive Disorder’, a hip hop-infused marching beat with cosmic howls and blasting basslines. The letters had begun to pile up on the floor, others had been torn open and quickly discarded. Never mind the physical reminders, she'd also watched her inbox slowly fill with unanswered responses; responses that would likely remain unanswered for months to come. After 15 rejections she'd given up believing that anything positive would come from her efforts; her optimism had dwindled, her pride had been hurt and her ego bruised. But deep down she knew she had to persevere — that strength had to be summoned from somewhere.

Following five releases through their netlabel MATERIÁ, Lithuanian music platform whypeopledance officially launch the label under their own name with a release from Jack Carel. Following two decades of producing music, his new EP 'Turn It Up' signals a more disconcerting approach in his output, motivated by the moods and feelings that 2020 brought with it. Through raw grooves, heavy drum patterns and deep, dark atmospheres, Carel shares a sonic declaration to "the act of faith, patience, hope, and the anticipation of a coming revolution" and proves that strength can be found in dark times.
