Stiletti-Ana, part of the dreamy sunbathed electronic duo “Jesse” and top tier in Finnish music production is releasing a new solo album, “I’m an arpeggiator” on Höga Nord Rekords. This album carries similarities to Jesse in both production and sounds but hides more ancient wisdom. A refined sound but with more edges left sharp and more of a mysterious vibe.
As the sound professor he is, Stiletti-Ana takes you in a tour of his vast collection of vintage synthesisers and in centre of attention sits the arpeggiator (hence the album title) which gives the sound much of its repetitive character. Recorded in the legendary Haista II-studio outside Helsinki, “I’m an arpeggiator” channels the energies from the waters and forest surrounding the studio, giving the music its’s escapistic and romantic character.
This record is a transcendental trip down the paths of Boards of Canada and Manuel Göttsching, dedicated to the ancient Babylonian fishing god, Dagan.

“Laterna Magica” gets reworked by @itako, whose “Standards” EP came out on Samo last year; the result is a sped-up version that will haunt you for days.

In the middle of the summer Yeho, an Israeli musician coming from Tel Aviv, was wandering around Italy and randomly he found himself in the “Quintino Basement”, lair of Ninja Exotic Machine.
This casual encounter gave birth to three new tracks where the
duo’s downtempo and tribal style merges with Yeho’s crisp and raw vocal together with intriguing percussions samples extracted from live recordings of the percussionist Andrea Greco.
The result is an Ep called “36 questions” out on Pho Bho Records on the 14th of October.

Tagliabue’s cosmic music is a transcendental journey through introspection and imagination. The latter has no limits, when stimulated by sounds that slowly shade and snake deeply in the listener’s conscious.
With “Ambiente Sonoro” the Milan based DJ and producer now introduces his debut mini-album. The concept is inspired by the Italian library music of the 70s from Daniela Casa, Egisto Macchi and Piero Umiliani, characterized by the extensive use of electronic, experimental and psychedelic sounds. It is arranged and produced in a contemporary way, alternating dark ambient, tribalistic sounds mixed with abstract electronic and IDM influences from artists such as Biosphere, Higher Intelligence Agency, Global Communication or Coil.
His experience as a music selector and his previous works anticipate the character of this concept album. A record that cannot be placed in a specific genre.
Ancestral rhythms, post-industrial waves, apocalyptic chants and drones, suggest a mental projection into a new planetary system consisting of six bodies with different landscapes kept in orbit by a cosmic sound perturbation. A dreamy state of emotional, protracted and reflective abandonment.

Psychedelic, dark and haunting, Piscolabis embraces all the styles dear to Antoine Harispuru and emerges as a striking opening onto new worlds, and his fourth studio album features a wealth of guest talent in the form of French artists The Liminañas and Tim Glass; Japanese vocalist, composer and sound designer Narumi Herisson aka Vega Voga; Australian trio Funboys; and Spaniard Pajaro Sunrise.
 
‘COLIBRI is a psychedelic labyrinth, a sentimental and hypnotic ascent that radiates on the dancefloor. VARIATION SUR 3 BANCS featuring The Limiñanas', immerses us in the world of acid western and psychedelic pop ; a hitchhiker’s fever dream. On TOKOYO NO KUNI, Golden Bug invites Japanese singer Vega Voga to craft a bridge between their two cultures by creating a musical epic, sounding like an imaginary, acid-drenched Toshiya Fujita movie. With its slow rhythm and spellbinding melodies, LA BOITE NOIRE explores Berlin electronica immersed in chloroform. FATA MORGANA excites with its sleazy rhythm, hypnotic arpeggiator and cosmic sound effects. NID DE GUEPES’ interstellar flute wraps around slowed dub effects, like a 45 played at 33, and evokes emotion by repeating its heady loop, an obsessive and mutant vision of music. BRING THE LIGHT with the support of Spanish singer Pajaro Sunrise is an ideal springboard to touch the stars and explores the clear face of Golden Bug by fusing choppy oriental guitars, solar vocals and dub rhythm. Without interruption, KOTODAMA continues the journey to an unknown planet, on which Vega Voga comes to pose her suave voice on dark electronic arrangements, transforming itself into indescribable and harmoniously eccentric binary code. To end this journey, LE CHANT DES SIRENES, carried by the voice of Frenchman Tim Glass, plays along the lines of scintillating and nebulous pop.

10th digital release of Scotiish finest Invisible, Inc. comes courtesy of Budapest's Bal5000.

It's his second EP for the label, the first being the Bleu Infini EP back in 2017(although some stellar tracks of his did appear on the Lost Transmissions compilation which is getting a repress this year and the Invisible Family EP#3).

For those unfamiliar with him, Bal5000 was pretty big on the drum & bass circuit a decade or so ago (known simply as "Bal" back then) but more recently he's been exploring this kind of bass-heavy spaced house and slo-mo acid sound like you'll find here. Kind of reminiscent of I:Cube a little...but you'll find it definitely has its own distinct flavour.

With Piscolabis , Golden Bug delivers his new work, a sonic UFO oscillating between electronica, robot vibrations and psychedelic dub.

Piscolabis gathers all the vibes, the codes, the styles Antoine Harispuru has been messing with during the years and traces a bold new direction towards new worlds.

And he’s got, on his fourth studio album, an impressive cast of guests : rock act The Liminañas and electronic producer Tim Glass from France , Funboys from Australia, Vega Voga from Japan , Pajaro Sunrise from Spain ; they all help him painting this picture, a project born from opposites confronting each other.

A path starting with Colibri’s substance-drenched, labyrinthic dance floor beat, going on to Variations Sur 3 Bancs featuring The Liminañas take on the acid-western / psych pop universe, taking us hitch-hiking for a while thru Japan with singer Vega Voga for some out-there musical epics, and La Boite Noire takes us dancing, but very very very slowly. Slower. Ok.

Then La Goutte D’Eau starts casting its shadows until Fata Morgana gets her hands on that arpeggiator, which basically keeps us raving on until Nid de guêpes, a mutating obsession, a gateway drug to Bring The Light, featuring Pajaro Sunrise, and to the blinking rainbow road they bring us onto. (This is kinda Golden Bug’s light side.)

The path ends with a triptych : Kotodama Part 1 and 2 (featuring Vega Voga) and Le Chant Des Sirènes, a musical work which perfectly encompasses the trip Antoine Harispuru has taken on this last album of his: a stroll from an indescribable, eccentric, robot-like binary code to shining, moody pop music, and back again.

After releases on Hivern Disc and Nitsa Traxx amongst many other labels the prolific spanish producer appears for the first time in Calypso with a 4 track EP that has been waiting to see the light for a long time...and finally the time has come.
The music goes from the slow motion percussive sounds to acid basslines and modulated sounds that reverberate deep in the soul. The atmosphere of the music is enigmatic, cinematic and futuristic but also melancholic and primitive. There are a lot of skills in the production style of this Barcelonian producer.
To complete the package Mr Tc delivers a hypnotic techno(ish) remix that makes this EP a very strong comeback for Calypso Records.

While we were finishing the last details of this release, we read with astonishment in the news that a group of scientists was able to take the first photograph of the black hole that exists in the heart of the milky way. This has raised many questions that we usually find in 
science fiction. What are they? Are they the portal to another dimension? Are there other dimensions beyond known space-time? The truth is, we don't know shit about this. But the first thing that came to mind, as we laughed through thick clouds of smoke and listened to the final mastering of 'Sticker Shock', was: where did these guys come from? This sound has to come from another dimension. There is no other explanation. We are more than psyched to introduce you to our reference number 044 'Sticker Shock' produced by Zillas On Acid. Thomas Roland and James Weissinger were born and raised in Philadelphia (or so they say) and in recent years have built a solid catalog with different appearances in Optimo, Les Disques de la Mort, Multi Cult and Dischi Autunno, among others. 
This EP has unique assembled layers and planes. The songs are at the same time fun, psychedelic and deep, mixing slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to get party people on all planets pumped.
On the remix side, the great German Tolouse Low Trax offers us a robotic, kraut and freaky-funk reinterpretation of the song that gives the album its name. And last but not least, label boss Martin Noise join forces with talented young producer DELLA to create a groovy and percussive madness version of ‘Paper Party’.

We really tried to maintain emptiness of the beat but to strengthen the voice, the vibe and build-up of the original.

Eivør - Trøllabundin (Yør Kultura Remix)

Chang and Eng, born in 1811 in Siam (nowadays Thailand), were the first documented conjoined twin brothers. Their fame propelled the expression “Siamese Twins” to become synonymous for conjoined twins in general. Paying homage to this aspect, it is also a record label based in Thailand run by Sunju, Johan, and Taychin from Karma Klique, with Yoshi from 禁 JIN Records. A home for authentic, tribally rooted sounds introducing Asian artists and creating symbiotic dialogues with producers around the globe. Two heads, one path, one pace.
The Debut “Cobra EP” comes from a new production project “Mogambo” a collaborative brainchild of Sunju Hargun and multi-instrumentalist Jerom Doudet. Both located in Thailand and bounded by a shared love of acid electronica, Bollywood movies and big psychedelic gongs.
Delving deep into a highly personal and unique sound cosmos this album covers a wide range of sound textures. Featuring trippy jungle grooves, mesmerizing tribal percussion, countless eccentric effect pedals and hints to 90’s Goa. The EP ranges from spacey Asian soundscapes, sweaty basement afterhours journeys to slow burning hypnotizing grooves slithering as a Cobra.
Our choise is - जीना (Jeena) - A cinematic mesmerizing ambient track. Organic synth lines grow and layer over a Thai vocal slowly dripping in. Gongs stretched into a hazy morning.
