French artist Back From The Wave joins Roam Recordings with two original hypnotic burners. The EP starts with Brothers which builds with lush pads and gritty sythwork. Mother’s Mind takes a more reflective approach and continues to build the trance inducing journey of the EP. The EP is backed by remixes from French compatriot Endrik Schroeder and Roam alumni Rigopolar. Endrik Schroeder is up first with his dreamy and melodic take on Brothers. Rigopolar rounds out the EP with a laid back version of Mother’s Mind with beautiful vocoder work accentuating the mellow vibes.

Rees landed on Bordello A Parigi with a bang. His “Three Eyes” track left dancefloors slippy and listeners wanting more. Thankfully, the Middlesborough musician only too glad to comply. Dream Wave collects three tracks that are emblematic of Rees’ enviable ability. A serial cross pollinator, genre lines are blurred before being rewritten. “A Dream Wave” melts rich basslines and muscled percussion with a daringly upbeat counter melody. Kick drums usher in “The New Beat”. Flourishes float above the thump before Rees lets loose. Acid barbs, rave shouts and Eastern echoes coalesce in this unique work. Keeping bodies moving until the very end, Rees delivers “Electric Body”. Guitar strings and incising snares collide with a hypnotic synthline that adopts elements of synth pop and full bodied techno. A record that perfectly illustrates the versatility of this style shifting artist.

DISCHI presents “Orion”, by Cyrk. For their first release on the label, the Berlin-based duo composed of Sammy Goossens and Pascal Hetzel is back with a catchy four-tracker. Described as a Detroit-influenced blend of techno, acid and electro, their sound is both melodic and intense. With the “Orion” EP, Cyrk brings the listeners down a darker journey into clubland. The title track “Orion” pairs fierce arpeggiated synth lines and enigmatic melodies work hand-in-hand to keep us on the edge. Followed by the track “House” bringing power and intensity to the EP, creating a sense of temptation in the narrative. “So Fucking High,” sustains a relentless energy through meticulous sound design and rich, layered textures. A hypnotic vocal loop chanting the track's title over and over pulls into a trance-like state, for those moments when the dancefloor heats up under the glow of laser lights. The closing track “Confusion” sets the scene with pulsating kicks, brooding atmospheric synths, and robotic, electro-infused melodies. The “Orion” EP is not for the faint of heart. It’s crafted for those who thrive on dark, sweaty atmospheres and endless nights.

From Mexico, Levantine returns with his latest EP, Polysentimiento. This release showcases a shift in the artist's sound, diving into darker, more underground influences with a blend of Darkwave, Electro, EBM, and Industrial elements. The EP is accompanied by two stunning remixes: the first by the talented Argentinian DJ and producer Manu Barcelo, and the second by in-house artists Comegatos + Veltrán, alias Cometrán.

With a heavy, club-ready atmosphere and synthesis influenced by Berlin's Electro scene, this EP delivers a hypnotic, trance-like experience. Distinctive textures, reverberations, and powerful synth sequences define the sound, offering a more aggressive and dynamic experience.

Farloh has grown well acquainted with London’s rich club scene, he first developed his craft by playing local prestigious venues including The Cause and Brixton Courtyard. Having cut his teeth in bands in his earlier teenage years, he saw inspiration from guitar-based music and then took to crafting a unique club-ready sound in the years to come. Farloh’s intrinsic sound can be heard on his monthly radio residency at Bloop London, while his releases on labels include Kosa Records and Black Mambo Records.
