PREMIERE - Flight status - Raquel's Dream (Boots & Legs)

' Angé makes her debut on Wrong Era with the slick 'Daydream'. A record filled with instantly signature bass hooks and celestial soundscapes that encapsulate her dark, driving, energy-fueled vision. This vision is evident from the get-go with the anthemic 'Daydream'. A pulsating and undoubtedly infectious floor filler with captivating, eerie vocals. The cascading arps of '5AM' follow this tone, flowing in and out of acidic synthesis and piercing percussion. 

'Kevin' is charged with slick post-punk and flashes of shoegaze in the guitar work, amongst powerful vocal cuts and metallic synth lines. 'Sans Nom' is the perfect conclusion to 'Daydream', with an ever-evolving bassline and haunting choral lines. The Estonian producer, selector and co-founder of Tallinn's renowned Dark Disco event series has created a distinctive release with elegant cohesion, leaving us eager for another dive into her sonic realm. Pumped-up and ready for the dancefloor, Elninodiablo turns in a flavourful and playful joint as his debut release for NEIN Records. Injecting further exhilarating levels of joy and bounce into his blends, the Berlin- based producer treats us to a smörgåsbord of club-optimized groovers in 'Infinitely Venus'.

A quartet of feelgood chuggers designed to contrast with the bleak state of the world as we experience it, 'Infinitely Venus' draws deep into the late 70s / early 80s period with its fun-loving mix of VHS glitch, space disco-ey vocoder, en-vogue trap rhythms and cleverly collaged film samples. Coming off unfiltered and unbothered by the limitative genre segmentation, this ufologic new package from Elninodiablo takes all the good, joyful stuff and bends it into a wholly new effusive object, freed from normative standards and boring etiquette.

All newbeat drums and frantic cowbells blazing, 'Infinitely Venus' conjures up the finest of The Asphodells' spaced-out mindset and that propulsive EBM thrust to have you lifted off to tropospheric heights in a flash. A flickering tapestry of mutant textures and envelopes floating in zero-G motion as bass arpeggios lead the charge, here's one hybrid roller for the transitional hours of the day, when night fades into day and day fades into night.

Churning out a further shape-shifting grid of drum-laden punch, rhythmic intricacies and overly erotic breath, 'Gone Gollywood' is just as soulful as it is outrageously fun and sexy. Here, Elninodiablo's 360 vision flourishes in all its unhindered exuberance and restless oomph. Draped in layers of Kraftwerk-esque vocoded talk, processed seesaw and sticky analogue squelch, 'Acid Girl' feels like a lucid dream turned robotic floor anthem, and it shall not only get droids to boogie down. Back to a further cosmic jazz-minded buildup and Weatherallian headspace, 'Jellyfish Albino' puts on the afterburners and flies us off to distant, uncharted musical lands, where Afrofunk-informed percussions, bleached-out motorik and viscous Cali-funk synth vibrations reign supreme and topped off with an electro twist.

PREMIERE: Elninodiablo -  Infinitely Venus [NEIN Records]

“Voodooridoo” is the debut EP of the collab between Radial Gaze and Pyrame. The result of what had to happenwhen the two friends finally met in person earlier this year.

Indeed, over a 2 months period, the two electronic musicians quickly hit the ground and regularly caught up at Thisbe Recordings´ HQ in Berlin-Mitte, where ideas kept flowing and got recorded. They blent each other´srecipes to produce unpreceded music for both of them. Pyrame´s brain-sticking melodies and basslines as well asodd organic instrumentation found in his studio meet Radial Gaze´s punchy riffs on acid, signature tribalpercussions, and brain-washing arpeggiated patterns.

Out of this time in the studio emerged three original tracks. First, “Outrageous” because this is how well the twogot on with each other from the first day onwards. “Voodooridoo” came next and was so packed with ideas thatthe two fellows had to slim down their production at that time. Such a creative process was calling for a third tune,and that one morning when Pyrame came into the studio and shouted “Boa Boa” while Radial Gaze was alreadyworking on another acid trippy pattern paved the way for their third track. Their collaborative work and enthusiasmdid the rest and their first collab EP was wrapped up.

PREMIERE - Ludviq & Nick Hanzo - Pitch Perico (Feat. Fronterizza) (Leonor Remix) (Povlino Records)

Sometimes, the World Wide Web is beautiful, isn’t it? Today’s premiere is a good example: The Ukrainian label POVILNO, for its forthcoming release, opened the doors for another parcel of the fruitful partnership between Barcelona-based Mexican virtuoso Ludviq (SXDNS413) and Vienna’s superstar Nick Hanzo (SXDNS065). Something that would not be possible without the miracle of the doomed but still useful Internet.

According to the history books, everything started in 2021 when Nick revisioned Ludviq’s “Saltu Capsicum” for his first EP on NEIN Records. Since then, their paths have already crossed each other a few other times resulting in well-received remixes or collaborations published either on their very own imprints (Hanzo’s Belly Dance Services and Ludviq’s Bonkers) or other platforms such as Melomana and Quixotical.

For their debut on POVILNO, the lads came up with a couple of “thought-bending and dance-floor-ready originals” and invited none other than Lebollet (RASTROLIVE004) and Leonor (SXDNS034) for the remix duties.

Premiered here, "Ace of Pentacles" develops its magic by showing off an imperative bassline topped with a complex concoction of percussive elements and sharp FX shots. The oscillating synth layer triggers a mesmerising break during the drop just to be abruptly interrupted when all the hysteria of the aforementioned mixture starts over. That’s the title track, a “catchy exploration through deep basslines, intricate rhythms, and cosmic syncopation.”

Today we are going to surprise you.
Yes, our collection is replenished every week, and more and more talented musicians are coming to our community. This time the guest mix for us was recorded by Fazarchive - young, bright and already having experience of performing in the legendary @armaseventeen.
As Arthur himself said, this mix turned out to be “melancholic electric disco with indie flavor”. We were already familiar with his mixes, and this one turned out to be a great addition to our collection - the groove of the whole mix stretches in a measured and even way, interrupted by quality drops, brightly complemented by vocals.
