Metallic structures towered high above the rest of the city, their appearance ominous and menacing. Who resided in these buildings, nobody knew. No signage emblazoned the entrances, and only on rare occasions were people seen arriving or leaving. They weren't offices or homes, they weren't schools or charities, their purpose was unknown, their story untold — an unsettling mystery that remained unsolved.

Next up on Coloray's Intercept Records comes the debut outing from UK producer Charlotte Denham AKA Talik. Influenced by her time spent living in Berlin, Hackney and Brighton, the four tracks across 'Cold Silver' showcase her ability to play with texture, rhythm and tension — crafting music for the body and the mind and finding comfort in the spaces between light and dark.

Berlin nightclub Sameheads do another family roll call for their next V/A compilation, the aptly titled 'Vax!'. Like their previous outings they've rounded up artists with close ties to the steamy, sweaty basement to help keep the spirit of the club alive and well. For this instalment they welcome Chikiss & Mustelide’s new group, Deti Vechnosti, electronic hardware trio Automatenfall, Mannequin Records boss Alessandro Adriani, Alexander Arpeggio & OhLandy, Frankfurt’s MMODEM member Das Kinn and our pick from Romain Azzaro's Rouge Mécanique alias.

New Swiss label Rababoo is proud to present his first release: Marcel de Sie 'Uma' EP. Oscillating between melodic industrial and shaky psychedelic music, Mr. de Sie overcomes his first 3 tracks with a static approach of electronic low drifts – in that sense, we decided to call it a soundtrack “to schuss'', in dedication to all label ski friends from here and there. Our pick falls on second track - 'Mezzo FM'' which pitch the tone of the EP and are built as explorations of dance floor narratives and unleashes a cascade of sounds that brings any lost hiker back on track and drives him into a shamanic waltz in the mountains. 
Also joined by Greek producer Anatolian Weapons (Dark Entries) and Belgian’s Victor de Roo (Stroom) for the remixes the 'Uma' EP is a great start for a newly born Swiss label, which, we hope, will delight us with more great releases in the future.

Info: Masterplan is London-based but so far prefers to keep a low profile and let the music do his bidding. It's a raw and pure underground garage in the case of this first one for brand new label Reptile Mod. ''Living' has it all - a soulful r&b vocal that tugs at the heart, some muted sex stars and nice fat bass to get the floor bumping. ''Concorde' isa chopped up groove with scraping hits and malfunctioning synthsequences fading colours and 'RuffNReady' keeps it deep and direct. ''Above The Law' and 'Deeper' round out to make sure to be effective and popular garage kickers. On this evidence, this will be a label to watch for garage heads.
