London based label Claptrap presents ‘KOKO NI KITE’ the debut EP from DJ, Producer & Multi-Instrumentalist DJ Goodboy featuring a remix from label head Vanity Project.

"When it looks as if you had made up your mind finally to stay at home for the evening, when you have put on your house jacket and sat down after supper with a light on the table to the piece of work or the game that usually precedes your going to bed, when the weather outside is unpleasant so that staying indoors seems natural, and when you have already been sitting quietly at the table for so long that your departure must occasion surprise to everyone, when, besides, the stairs are in darkness and the front door locked, and in spite of all that you have started up in a sudden fit of restlessness, changed your jacket, abruptly dressed yourself for the street, explained that you must go out and with a few curt words of leave-taking actually gone out, banging the flat door more or less hastily according to the degree of displeasure you think you have left behind you, and when you find yourself once more in the street with limbs swinging extra freely in answer to the unexpected liberty you have procured for them, when as a result of this decisive action you feel concentrated within yourself all the potentialities of decisive action, when you recognize with more than usual significance that your strength is greater than your need to accomplish effortlessly the swiftest of changes and to cope with it, when in this frame of mind you go striding down the long streets - then for that evening you have completely got away from your family, which fades into insubstantiality, while you yourself, a firm, boldly drawn black figure, slapping yourself on the thigh, grow to your true stature.

All this is still heightened if at such a late hour in the evening you look up a friend to see how he is getting on."

Introducing the EP from Anton Levdikov, "The Umbra is Going Wild." The Umbra are mythical characters created by the author, who shares their legends and portrays them in his artwork and installations. This EP narrates their adventures, which intensify with each track, journeying from darkness to light and back again—a lengthy yet enthralling odyssey. In "The Umbra is Going Wild" EP, Anton expresses his passion for industrial music, acid house, and electronic body music. The remixes feature producers from various genres, furthering the Umbra's eclectic journey. Contributors include Mexican producer Tkuz, Spaniard and Logical Records label owner Ivan De La Rouch, Arma 17 resident and Pinkman regular Lvrin, Bravers co-founder Oryol, and Temple de Plastique resident Julia Konor.

The "Muy Duro" series returns this summer with the twelfth edition of the compilation. This time, the artists involved are Yotam Russo, Rina feat. Julyjuli, Theus Mago collaborating with Dominik Marz, Alvaro Cabana, and Ali X.

The compilation splendidly begins with “Lift Him Up” by Israeli artist Yotam Russo, who brilliantly combines a rhythmic section that invites you to feel the summer energy along with pianos, acid melodies, and gospel vocals. Following is the collaboration between Rina and Julyjuli, a psychedelic and immersive track with a captivating and deep bass, accompanied by electrifying synthesizers that plunge you into a trance while the voice resonates like a lost mantra.

“Bring The Feedback,” produced by Theus Mago in collaboration with Dominik Marz, is a house-oriented track that hooks you from the very first moment with its acid and elastic sounds and rhythmic elements. Spanish artist Álvaro Cabana returns to “Muy Duro” compilation with “Integración,” a track that progressively takes you through surrealistic rhythms, creating a hypnotic and lysergic sound.

Closing the compilation is “Choola” by Ali X, a track with deep and resonant basses that mixes different melodic, percussive, and vocal elements, creating a mind-blowing and accelerated atmosphere.

“Muy Duro Vol. 12” will be available on all digital platforms starting July 26, 2024.
