After a stint of regarded releases on Public Possession DJ City returns to Cocktail demote Music with Giuda Iscariota. The title might evoke images of the eternal betrayal but DJ City seems fully devoted to his crowd. Fueled by the distant memory of his regular sets at Cocktail, City touches on an array of moods and styles keeping his foot on the pedal. Giuda Iscariota emulates the selection choices of DJ City during his many sets at the party with a no-nonsense focus on dance floor drivers while Nattens Tysta Timmar slathers on the queer vibe by sounding like a lost Pet Shop Boys deep cut. On the flip Sophies Theme picks up the pace again with acid-laden house grooves and Archeoicae's head down hands up arp driven frenzy.

Had life only just started? It seemed everything that came before now had started to fade into darkness... Problems that once felt catastrophic no longer mattered; selfish pursuits were no longer on the agenda. It wasn't just them anymore, there was another life to think about other than their own. Everything had been flipped on its head and, though scary and unknown, they were ready to dive in headfirst.

Italian DJ and producer Fango launched his E Dee series last June dedicated to a life-changing event that had taken place a few years prior: the birth of his first child Carlo. Each release explores the world his son sees but communicated through Fango's own eyes (and ears). Now on volume two, and with Peruvian imprint Degustibus on board this time, he shares three cosmic, driving grooves that take their titles from Carlo's own vocabulary, while the artwork uses Carlo's mouth as the image for the centre sticker and his own drawing for the inner sleeve. Another chapter in a very personal and beautiful ode to becoming a parent.

He was quite the contortionist, moving and meandering his way through the crowded room. Thank heavens nobody might be able to see his face amidst the smoke and darkness for they might get the fright of their life at the prospect of his wide eyed gaze and wobbling jaw. 

Things were getting tingly now, he could feel it all over. 

Over there in the corner would be nice, some place out of sight where he would be left to his own devices with little but for the drowning sound of drums and the occasional wobble of the weight beneath. 

This was it, this was what he was after. A good full body gurn, a total eclipse of the senses and chance to wipe the slate clean..

Man Power is your wonderful down to earth DJ. None of that pretentious rubbish, just stick him in a dark room with some loud music and you are good to go. His next release on Nocturne relishes in such sensibilities, a no holds bar dancefloor banger for the troops who like to move.

Ma Spaventi is a wonderfully versatile artist. Over his decade-long career, the Italian musician has turned his capable hand to everything from ambient to techno. Once again, he is expanding his sound palette and challenging expectations with Vicino Lontano.

Across eight tracks, an array of ideas and influences are explored with additional guitar work coming care of Odeon’s Michele Righini. The reflective hues of “Solitario” give way to the warming strings and peaceful brightness of “Crepuscolo.” Written and produced in Amsterdam between 2017 and 2019, beautiful memories of the past are the source of inspiration. Radiating Summer sunshine bathes “Bring Me Back” in a comforting glow, while “Velvet Lights” teases rhythm sections with thick bass lines and shimmering synth work. Moments of introspection arrive in the elegant gliding forms of “Bomber” and “Intermezzo.” The rumbling “End Line” finds harmony amongst a spread of styles, cascading chords and rich textures, all combining beautifully. A moon rise closes, the grand curtain falls on “Bidderosa”,  calling time of this stunning collection.

Its been 8 years of underground raves in Berlin under the MT umbrella.

In Order to celebrate it (tbh we always just look for reasons to celebrate sth) we have decided to unleash a series of digital releases titled Tanzers.
The idea is to release one of these small compilations every few months, in order to share some favourite secret weapons from those parties.

For the artwork we have asked the help of our dear friend and calligrapher @ellaponi who designed all the raves posters throughout the years to make something specials for TANZERS EINS (1).

On this compilation we present fresh tracks by label alumni Plazmot, Yovav & Khidja, as well as an unreleased remix by Odopt & Lipelis to a track from Linja's debut album on the label from 2020.
Also on the compilation is a first entry on the label from UK artist Forever Sound, of whom we've been big fans since his releases on Cocktail D'amore & Tusk Wax.

Flertando com sons gerados por diversão tecnológica misturadas a uma sensualidade etérea, o DJ e produtor apresenta um universo simples de entrega sincera. "MVP", sigla para "Minimum viable product" ou para "Most valuable player", se divide em dois caminhos. "MVP 1" começa definindo o tom trazendo breaks em uma faixa que engloba texturas latinas irreverentes em um ritmo progressivo e incessante. Em uma interpretação única, o DJ e produtor brasileiro e baseado em Berlim GIO eleva os elementos da faixa original em uma sequência ambiciosa de batidas percussivas, trazendo o calor e suor carnavalesco aos ouvidos. Em um segundo momento, "MVP 2" abraça percussões ritmadas e vocais sublimes com uma linha de baixo encorpada. In his debut on the Tandera domain, Tuxe presents his first single, "MVP". Two pulsating tracks, full of energy and club ready. Flirting with sounds generated by technological fun mixed with an ethereal sensuality, the DJ and producer presents a simple universe of sincere delivery. "MVP", an acronym for "Minimum viable product" or "Most valuable player", is divided into two tracks. "MVP 1" begins by setting the tone, bringing breaks to a track that encompasses irreverent Latin textures in a progressive and incessant rhythm. In a unique interpretation, Berlin-based Brazilian DJ and producer GIO elevates the elements of the original track into an ambitious sequence of percussive beats, bringing carnival heat and sweat to your ears. In a second moment, "MVP 2" embraces rhythmic percussions and sublime vocals with a full-bodied bass line. Label partner Guza contributes with a second remix for the release, slowing down what he adds in detail, fruition and sonic experimentation, closing the cycle of 4 distinct emotions, imprinted on the same pattern of propulsive rhythms.

The Why people dance question was asked for the first time in Lithuania back in 2013 but it gained a worldwide echo in its 8 years of existence. Run by @pauliuskamblevicius with the help of @experimentsserial and a network of collaborators, the online electronic music platform and label keeps its heart open for new friends and treasure finds but its filter tight and deep underground. GIO (Giovani Goltara, he/him) is a Brazilian producer and DJ based in Berlin. Drawn to sunny House beats infused with polyrhythmic Latin American drums since his early rave days, GIO digs through 1990s records to uncover productions that resonate with his roots. He shines on queer crowds and open-air dance floors, blending classic House with contemporary Latinx tunes to create refreshing and varied dance experiences. Since 2021, he's been organizing parties in Berlin, including Coven, a standout event celebrating queer Latin American culture through music and dance. His productions have been released on labels like U’re Guay Records (UY), Vigor Trax (MX), Tandera Records (BR), and House of Others (ESP).
