[HARMONY014] is a four-track VA compilation that blends warm rhythm into dreamy groove.

Club-oriented A-side opens with “It’s me bb” tailored by Alfred Czital, setting an intimate, yet vibrant tone of the compilation, followed by Jamida's melodic “Lots Of Love” infused in harmonic vocals.

Side B navigates through deeper-end density fields, suitable on or off the dance floor. Poygonia's “Akkala” encompasses tribal traditions and pulsing beats, while Andy Garvey's Euphorique is finding balance between divine pads and collapsing percussion, wrapping up the compilation.

SPEED is back with another round of the Artist Invitation Mix series, featuring an incredible artist. We're excited to present a mix from ex.girls representing Reykjavík, Iceland for this edition of the series.

ex.girls https://soundcloud.com/russian-girls started out as the solo project of Guðlaugur Hörðdal in 2011, but soon became a platform for him and his friends to make music. Gylfi Sigurðsson and Tatjana Dís Aldísar joined the project in 2017 and the trio have since then become a prominent fixture in the Icelandic music scene, known for their unique sound and ambitious live performances.

In 2020, the group caught the attention of the techno giant Bjarki, with their then unreleased track “Halda áfram“, later to be released on his label bbbbb records. Two years later, the same track was awarded electronic track of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards. 

Genre-bending and nihilistic, the trio is constantly exploring new paths which makes their music exciting, unpredictable or as once described: “entirely their own“.
