At the crossroads of ritual, industrial and electronic musics, there is a niche where many experimenters are clearing the edges of genres. The three members of Nze Nze (UVB76 and Sacred Lodge) are among these: summoning sequenced machines, digital samplers and multi-effects. They’re making the instrumentals telescope guttural vocals, war stories from Fang mythologies (vernacular language of Central Africa) and arrange everything to create hybrid, unclassifiable and disconcerting pieces.
The fundamentals of radical electronic musics are there, but the production, close to the great free-jazz records, lets claim a heritage far from obvious current proposals.

The debut full-length offering from Russia-via-Brittany based duo @uvbsoixanteseize for Parisian imprint @teenagemenopause comes as a warning to the creatively worn-out 4/4 purists and stale-minded heads: future lies in the hybrid and the unpure, the bastardized and the non-eugenic ; future is a cross-bred dog howling at the moon.

Another premiere features viscous melodies and vocals of Trenton Chase in a track called Narked, that belongs to V.A. Archives Du Coeur Domain compilation.

The compilation is the latest in the synth-heavy sludge down from Public System Recordings brought directly by the label’s boss Myn. It’s said that he invites a new cast of characters into the dungeon dance, and it’s completely true. Packed with dynamic, chugging, and forward thinking jams, compilation includes Narked, which is yet again a strong piece from Trenton Chase. Metallic and industrial elements bend along with vocal echoes, that create constant reverberation and the positive sound of fear.

Fourth vinyl installment for the duo, 'Iwa Gaaden' is also their third collaboration with Random Numbers. Pushing forward their commitment for processed field- recordings, micro-samples and poly-rhythmic patterns, this 5 long tells a singular and dark tale about spirits and revenge. Mixing contemporary techniques and ancient sonorities, martial marches meet ghostly rave-esque rituals. A club ready but cinematic oriented odyssey, a pitch-black ballad in the Iwa Gaaden.
