CHLOE’s artistic integrity is beyond reproach. Her record label, Lumière Noire, has long been a beacon of light for those seeking an alternative to conventional electronic dance formats. Whilst also offering a platform for the most innovative of artists who are looking to provide as such. As an alumnus of fabled Parisian club, Le Pulp, CHLOE’s vision for the imprint was born from her experiences playing the historic French nightspot and the countless venues she has performed at since. By doing so, creating an entity that strikes the perfect balance between a record label and a nightclub.

A multifaceted composer, producer and DJ. CHLOÉ’ stand today as one of the only artists to achieve some of the accolades to her name. A impressive achievement in the very tough, competitive scene , that is music. Heavily associated with film and television, she has scored many soundtracks, as well as music for Hermes’s recent perfume campaign. No stranger to fashion and the arts, she has also been celebrated for her many musical productions for art installations and exhibitions around the world.

Whilst taking her SloMo A/V Live performance across Europe this year continues, she will have a heavy focus on returning her DJ sets to the dancefloor, from all female line - up’s and a much loved Queer Palm Party both in Paris, to key dates in Germany at b oth Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar, to the legendary Les Nuits Sonores in Lyon, all shouldering plays for The Lot Radio and Beats In Space with Tim Sweeney in New York.

To accompany her touring, her first release of 2025 will be a brand new single titled ‘Control’. Set to emerge as a bold manifesto to redefine the club experience. “ The club is a sanctuary where I experience a connection with music. With ‘ Control ’ , I subtly transform the dancefloor, whether in an intimate club or an expansive warehouse, my own way during a late - night set, using a powerful sound system that wraps every track in an immersive embrace” adds CHLOÉ

CHLOE marshals a cool, unassuming chorus of lo - fi melodies which gently thrum and bop to create a post - techno like soundscape. Following her almost signature, alien - like vocal additions this beautifully offbeat roller begins to stutter with a pneumatic synth line that gently penetrates each beat with spikey eccentricity.

The anonymous German/Canadian ANiML collective has deep roots in electronic music and the many associated sub-genres. They started Stratasonic as a way of collaborating with legends old and new without any musical boundaries. Following the inaugural single 'Accidental Effects' and subsequent ‘Breather’ EP, they now return with ‘Star Wal’k, a comprehensive deep dive into their sound and a sublime showcase of their rich musical talents. The mini-album reimagines the music, masters and methods that have most influenced ANiML. It's a deeply collaborative work with a sense of improvisation and off-the-cuff expression as it collides disparate moods and grooves into alluring new forms.

The intriguing 'Breather' kicks off with broken beats and rhythmic synth pulses that bounce about the mix. Haunted pads swirl in the background to make for a trippy voyage into the unknown, where heartfelt chords await. The brilliant 'Bruv' switches things up with live-sounding drums and chords so expressive you can almost see the player hunched over the keys and speaking directly from the soul. Breathy vocalisations and warped double bass complete this moody, intimate groove.

'Titles' sinks you deep into a swaggering late-night dub. It's a woozy vibe with distant reggae riffs and aching keys that make a lasting impression on your heart. There's a downbeat feel to the lurching drums of 'Cherry' that's contrasted by gorgeous guitar lines. They ring out into a starry night sky and evoke a psyched-out campfire session.

'Baby D' has a delightfully innocent and naive charm thanks to soft-focus xylophones bubbling up through louche, loose drums and squeaky-fingered guitar frets. It's a stoned, cosy sound marbled with intimate vocals and steamy soul. Finally, the profound yet tranquil 'Star Walk' again heads outdoors, lays horizontally on the ground and gazes off to infinity. Grand, sweeping, slow-motion prog licks arc up to the heavens and soundtrack a peaceful passage to the afterlife.

“Traces”, the debut album from Vesto Comodo, presents a sonic meditation on the enduring power of human emotions and behaviours in an era where the boundaries between organic and artificial consciousness have dissolved.

Introspective, funky, earthy and deep: the album sound palette juxtaposes elements like century-old piano phrases with mysterious synth pads, while tape-squashed drum breaks and jazzy flute themes spiral together creating a journey into a prehistoric futurism.
