Inspired from Romanian cultural heritage, be it film, dance or musical instruments Articulat's new EP 'Folclor Abstract' is a glance back to the roots in search of a meaningful future.
Searching for inspiration within Romanian folklore, Rotterdam resident producer found Ivan Braga who was on his own pursuit of cultural heritage, experimenting with a variety of traditional instruments and rhythms from different regions of the country. Doba lu' Braga is Ivan's modern take on Romanian drum patterns performed on a traditional Moldavian drum (dobă) with an uplifting twist and arrangement for the dancefloor experience.

Voltags arises from the fusion between the performer Volatille with the German producer Gats. Synthesized songs, distorted guitars. Cyber post-punk accompanied by Vola's aggressive, mocking
and sexual voice.

Chaos Center, the duo's debut EP, carries a cellular atmosphere of telemarketing, transmedia calls that cross and intersect in a zeitgeist Cold Turkey of the current anti-virtual pandemusic.

The album is also an exhibition of photographs by Brazilian visual artist and performer Nube Abe.

Leeds trio Joe Gill, Heidi Armitage and Tim Hutton aka Tzamsutsi opening new eclectic Various Lurkers 04 compilation on Space Ritual Records.
If you listen hard enough between the kicks and the high hats and the acid lines and the analogue synths you can hear a micro moment of silence, you could hear a psychedelic frogs.
Although Psychedelic Frogs Are Ok is a mid tempo track, it burns the senses every bit as well as much as any track you would hear at 5am. A heavy acid line plays out while punctuated by trippy tribal cowbell which seep in and out of the track.
All the while heady drums dance alongside fx ridden backwards bass lines among acid guitar parts, either way this will be a nice addition to the catalogue of an artist who will allow you to do anything except hear a psychedelic frogs singing.
