We first discovered Stefano aka Sabla—an artist from Torino—through his stunning release on Pensaments Sònics, the sublabel of Hivern Discs. That record instantly caught our attention. Then came his collaboration with D.K., which led us to explore more. That’s when we found out Stefano co-runs the label Gang of Ducks. It’s more than just a label—it’s a creative space with a truly distinctive vision and tastefully curated output.

Of course, like many others, we reached out to Stefano with the classic first request: would you record a podcast for us? His reply surprised us—instead of a regular mix, he proposed a Muslimgauze only set. The result was unique and powerful. It spread quickly, especially among Muslimgauze followers. 

While preparing the fourth edition of our Unreleased Territory series—our most well-received one so far—we asked Stefano to contribute a track. What he delivered went far beyond expectations. His music has a hypnotic, atmospheric quality that pulls you in and stays with you.

In 2024, we finally met in person during a collaborative event at SODAS2123, organized together with Gang of Ducks. Later, during a visit to Torino, we agreed on further collaboration for the next edition of Unreleased Territory.

Stefano aka Sabla isn’t just a talented producer—he’s a thoughtful and inspiring person with a refined, adventurous musical taste. His work with Donato Dozzy, including two joint EPs, shows his ability to move effortlessly across styles. We’re truly honored to have him as part of the Electric Shapes family. Sharing his work with our audience means a lot to us.

With its 10th edition, Dalmata Daniel’s split series brings together two artists who have both left their mark on the label’s compilations, now presenting their first full releases on the imprint. Anatolian Weapons and The Spy approach electronic music from different angles, one rooted in hypnotic techno rituals, the other in raw electro and post-punk energy. Both craft sounds that thrive in the shadows of the dancefloor.

On the A-side, Anatolian Weapons delivers three cold, hypnotic cuts. "Trapped" opens with heavy EBM percussion and a buzzkill bassline, setting a tense, mechanical tone. "Further Spiralling Down" sinks deeper into darkness with a grinding low end, tight drums, and electro-tinged claps, forming the side’s relentless highlight. "Apathy Through Shock" closes with pounding, catatonic rhythms and a mournful, otherworldly melody, pushing the listener into disorienting depths.

Flipping over, The Spy’s raw, electro-driven energy takes hold. "Same Blur" channels sharp electro beats with a punkish sneer and cosmic synth lines. "Falling", featuring The Spy’s own vocals, leans into melancholic new wave, pairing bouncy rhythms with bittersweet melodies. The closing "Pretending" drifts into the darkest corners, offering low-slung, haunted electro layered with distant, spectral harmonies.

Logbook. Exploration mission.

Day 1. The planet is dead. An anomaly is detected — the time flow is slightly distorted.

Day 2. Landed in the central crater. The clocks of our suits show different times from the clocks on the ship. The gap is increasing.

Day 4. Logs contain records of events that never happened. A report of tomorrow’s evacuation appeared in the system. No one wrote it.

Day 5. We found footprints leading from the landing site to the crater, identical to ours. The ship log was discovered nearby. Final entry: “Do not enter the crater.”

Log transmission terminated. The crew did not reestablish contact.

In an intricate lattice of ever-evolving electro exploration, Samuel Van Dijk (@mohlao) is back on Delsin with a new EP. Under his VC-118A alias, the Helsinki based producer presents a richly textured, cinematic strain of machine funk that reaches beyond dancefloor functionality to test the expressive potential locked within electro's crisp rhythmic framework.

There's a melancholic mood hovering over Avian as Van Dijk allows a subtle edge of distortion to creep into his flickering drum programming. The end result is a pensive sound that touches on the moodiness of orchestral composition, unfurling patiently across extended run times without losing focus. With his characteristic attention to detail and broad dynamic range, Van Dijk continues to offer up a sophisticated, emotionally-charged strain of electro like no other.

For our next physical release, FERMA welcomes back home one of the individuals running the project, Romphea. 

As a co-founder, he has long shaped the label’s uncompromising DIY ethos—placing experimentation, raw energy, and community at the heart 
of its vision. After releasing in a series of acclaimed platforms, the forward-thinking DJ and producer from Vyronas, Athens returns to vinyl with 
a genre-defying release. Building on the experimental pulse and reshaping the edge between electro, breaks and techno, Romphea continues that trajectory, 
weaving together tense polyrhythms, warped melodic fragments, and cavernous spaces.

This release features four, plus three digital bonus original tracks, aiming to provide a clear sound identity for the artist. The A-side opens with “Calls from Salem”, a dystopian slow burner that sets the tone with broken-beat percussion and dissonant synth stabs. “Steel Chair” surges forward with unrelenting force, propelled by serrated arpeggios and a barrage of fragmented vocals that rise and fall within the space, crafted for peak-time eruption.

Flipping to the B-side, “Paid Dividends” reaches full intensity, layering hammering kicks and percussion, while the low end rumbles with tectonic weight, amplifying the energy to fever pitch. Closing the record on a more contemplative note, “We Are The Universe” slows the pace, easing the tension and drifting into deeper territory. Echoing chords drift into space, layered with fragile percussive details and low, throbbing pulses. It’s a meditation on collapse and renewal, offering a moment of breath after the storm.

Extending beyond the physical record, this release comes with three extra digital exclusives. "Moonlighting" is another dancefloor stomper, 
capturing the tension and guiding dancers into a space where time dissolves, while in "Keygen Music", the rhythm remains grounded, but it is softened by melodic fragments that swirl in and out like fleeting memories. The release closes with "The 286 Theory" as a fierce statement: a four-to-the-floor cut, with layers of percussion that drive the groove forward, bringing the record full circle.

Straight from the source, defying the norms, devoted to the art. Do not sleep.

Being actively involved in the underground electronic music for more than a decade, Romanian born, Amsterdam based Alexandru Dima aka A++ is arguably one of the most played producers in the modern techno.

The recent collaboration with Lolla Tek for Hollywoods famous movie series Sense8 from the director of “The Matrix” , “Cloud Atlas” , “Jupiter Ascending” , Lana Wachowski and the signing on SCI+TEC, the label of Grammy winning artist Dubfire, is a visible result of such prolificacy; in the past years the music of A++ became an inevitable part in playlists of such titans as Deep Dish, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Dubfire himself and many more. He supplied his material to the likes of Night Light, Intacto, KMS and others.

A man of strong charisma, A++ spreading his artistic influence throughout his career, from creation of underground movement in his home town, through initiating techno scene in one of Italian towns of his later residency, to becoming an immediate resident in one of the central Amsterdam clubs, Sugarfactory, after recently moving to The Netherlands. No wonder that his own imprint Consumed Music contributes in writing the modern history of underground techno, supplying material to the world’s most iconic stages.

Pushing the boundaries of his creativity, A++ is currently working on the new projects, such as developing his new audio visual show, and finding his further artistic self in the new alter ego 9nemy.

Despite his busy tour and releases schedule, he always finds time for musical exploration and experimenting, and there is still a lot to be said for this gifted artist.
