For the past two years, every friday between 7-9 pm CET, I broadcasted two hours of electronic music mixed with obscurities and club classics from the past four decades, on Danish national radio station DR P6 Beat.

Dec 27th 2013 was the final show and I decided to play some personal favorites of 2013 and then share the clean mixes without my Danish jibberish and show jingles, right here on my Soundcloud.

Serial Experiments - L#47 w/ guest mix: Vox Low

Eora’s dub-techno tastemaker Command D and Naarm’s harmoniser of the emotive and abstract Zara combine for Gravity Reset, a collaborative four-tracker on Butter Sessions.

Both producers are equally nestled with love into Australia’s underground, with releases on beloved labels like Animalia and Pure Space. Command D also boasts refined live sets heaving in sub-bass, while Zara's celebrated for boundary-blurring productions and her Kinesis imprint championing the local scene. On Gravity Reset, they meet in lockstep, delivering trance-inducing offerings rooted in a shared love of rhythm, space and subtlety seeded with dub minimalism and introspective, tech-driven sound design.The titular track 'Gravity Reset' sets the tone with a deep, persistent kick, reverberated snares, and a low-end that twists and lifts. 'Cascadia' introduces pad warmth and light percussion, where laughter weaves into the mix, adding a human touch to the dub-soaked cut. '2Pulse' brings expressive congas and dubby psychedelia into dialogue with the wubs, before The Fog closes in a haze of phasing hats and musky bass.

A collaboration for the ages. What they mean when they say #deep.

For his debut single as Pocket Candy, HAKEEM delivers Rain Dance, a pumping, groove-driven tech house cut laced with larger-than-life synth lines, airy vocal stabs, and dub-soaked textures. The track balances dancefloor weight with an immersive, dreamlike quality — a nod to the forthcoming Dreamin’ EP on Brave Trax. Evoking a lucid dreamscape, Rain Dance invites listeners into a space where driving drum work meets hazy melodic interplay, dissolving the edges between reality and reverie.

Info: W133 is excited to welcome Tørrid to the label. The emerging Nürnberg-based artist and passionate drummer presents his „Broken Dreams“ EP, showcasing his deep love for percussion and rhythm.
This release marks a shift in his sound, focusing more on experimental and percussive elements. The EP opens with Brain Damage, a mind-bending acid-influenced track, with swirling sounds that twist and weave in unexpected directions. The second track, „Essauira 2“, picks up the percussive groove of the opener, gradually introducing a haunting synth line that adds a sense of eerie tension. „No Puppy“ follows, with its melancholic pads creeping in softly, creating an emotionally rich atmosphere. It takes a slightly slower pace, presenting a rolling, jungle-infused rhythm that transitions into a beautiful sequence of melancholic polyphonic arps. The EP concludes with „Bad Girl“, the fastest and most energetic of the four. It features jazzy, dreamy chords and a dynamic jungle beat, bringing a vibrant finish to the release.
„Broken Dreams“ will be available digitally on August 8th and is accompanied by a photograph by Philipp Roth.

Marking their twelfth release, Colombian imprint Furatena gear up to issue ‘F5‘, the latest extended-player from Argentinian producer Saigg...Our pick is ‘Mod_F5’, a peak-time electro weapon steeped in the neon-lit streets of Buenos Aires. Saigg bombards the atmosphere with thumping drum rhythms, acid-punching basslines and tension-soaked frequencies that flicker like witchcraft rituals. The track feels like a network of glitching synapses plunging the audience into freefall.

Lyder’s new album “weird fishes” is a shimmering dive into the unknown. With effervescent textures and dreamlike instrumentations, the electroacoustic trio invites listeners into a surreal seascape. Saxophone, violin, voice, and keys, all filtered and transformed, weave through ambient waters that feel both tender and disorienting. Each track explores a distinct layer of the deep – from sunlit shallows to abyssal ruins where forgotten echoes linger. “weird fishes” is a sonically fluid journey: colorful, strange, and full of hidden life.
